All too often we rush into our day while dragging yesterday, and all the days before, along with it. This gentle breathing and mindful awareness practice will help remind you that each breath is a new beginning, and each day is ripe with new possibilities. Let this meditation help you get calm, centered and clear as you set your intentions, align your energy with positivity and consciously shape the day ahead.

Hello beautiful soul,

And welcome to this guided meditation that will help you start your day feeling refreshed,

Inspired,

And align your energy with joy and positivity.

Our morning sets the pace for the rest of the day,

So really taking that time to set your intentions and to cultivate the energy you wish to be in before jumping into your to-do list is like a shower for the soul,

Allowing you to leap into a brand new day,

Cleansed,

Invigorated,

And open to new possibilities.

So let's embrace this day and begin anew right here,

Right now.

I'm so glad you're here.

Get yourself comfortable in a seated position,

And whenever you're ready,

Gently allow your eyes to close.

Begin by taking a nice deep breath in,

And slowly and softly exhale.

Become aware of each next breath,

Offering you the opportunity to begin again.

Feel the sensation and the energy of beginning anew ripple through your entire body as you continue to inhale deeply,

And feeling the sensation and the energy of releasing the old as it flows out and away,

Leaving your body on the exhale.

Let your whole body awaken,

Moving gently from the state of slumber and rest,

Into a greater and greater state of awareness and aliveness.

Welcome each inhale with a rising and opening sense of joy and delight,

And softly release each exhale with a deepening sense of calm and gratitude.

Sitting here,

Right now,

In the energy of bliss and appreciation,

Continue to pay attention to the soft and steady rhythm of your breath.

Inhale,

Welcome this brand new,

Never-been-lived-before today,

And exhale,

Letting go of all the yesterdays that came before.

Inhale,

Welcome this brand new,

Never-been-lived-before moment,

And exhale,

Letting go of every moment that came before,

And continue to inhale,

Welcoming this breath that has never been inhaled before,

And exhale,

Gently letting go of the breath that will never be breathed again.

Feel your body waking up even more as it sits grounded and centered in the only place it can be,

This present moment.

It cannot be alive in the past,

It cannot live in the future.

This moment now is pure creation and pure choice.

You get to choose how you want to feel in this moment.

You get to build moment upon moment to create this morning.

You get to continue choosing as morning turns to afternoon,

Turns to evening.

What do you want this day to hold?

And so,

Like the sun that wants to shine,

And so it does,

Whether it can be seen or felt,

You get to shine as bright and as beautiful as you want to.

Let the energy of the sun shine down upon you,

And let the energy of the sun that is within you radiate outwards.

Energy is behind everything.

Who we be each day informs what we do each day.

Without conscious being,

There is only mindless doing.

In mindless doing,

There is no true living.

Each day is another tick off of the finite days that we have to live.

This is not meant to depress us,

It is meant to inspire us,

To wake us up and shake us up so that we may live our lives instead of survive our lives.

And so,

With this reminder,

Set the conscious choice for how you will live your life today.

Inhale and exhale.

Feel your heart open.

Feel your body tingle and feel your mind relax.

Trust that this energy you have cultivated here this morning has the power,

Has the desire to carry you throughout your day.

And trust that should you feel disconnected from this energy at any point during the day,

Know and remember that each new breath can instantly reconnect you with this energy.

And that each new breath can instantly cleanse you of the energy that is not serving you.

Use these final moments to breathe on your own as you cultivate a deeper and stronger to the energy you wish to be in after you complete this practice,

And move through the rest of your day with a sense of clarity and calm.

Everything is this moment.

So let this moment be beautiful.

Every day is a collection of moments.

So let today's collection be as beautiful as can be.

Take a final deep breath in and a soft,

Slow,

Releasing exhale.

And whenever you're ready,

Come back to the room and gently open your eyes.

I hope this meditation helped you wake up to the beauty that this day has to offer,

And that you feel energized and excited about the day ahead.
