Solitaire Surrounded
by Annouk Boon
Solitaire Surrounded One day I walked the garden It was there I met my friend In the heavy storms of time he head learned to bend. His arms he held wide open For everything that’s light In his crown of golden leaves even the butterflies hide. Day and night he noticed But it’s not what he became Solitaire surrounded Bonded by no name Could it be it’s roots That made him stand so tall Than I saw the drawings of the annual rings of his soul My friend is like a mirror, And suddenly we were the same Two parts meet in the middle, Bonded by no name, bonded by no name.. © 2025 Composed by D.A Boon Annouk Boon: Guitar and Singing
