With distractions in the world, sometimes the best thing to do is step back and notice the breath. It only takes a second to take notice and breathe. Yes, life is complicated, but we can make it less difficult. Let’s take each moment as we take each breath -one at a time.

Hello and welcome.

My name is Samantha Archibald of Xayoga.

And I want to take a moment to remind you that all you need to do is pay attention to your breath.

It is our life force.

It is how we came into this world and how we leave.

So take a moment to breathe in deeply.

And exhale completely.

Again inhale.

And exhale.

Allow yourself to relax.

Relax the shoulders,

The hips.

Allow yourself to focus on the breath.

The inhales and the exhales.

So you simply have the breath.

Not the to-do list that's typically in front of you.

Or any other thought that might arise.

Instead simply bring it back to the breath.

So you become just present to this moment.

And although there's so many things happening around us,

A lot going on in the world that we live in.

Sometimes the easiest and the best thing to do is to come back to the breath.

And simply put everything aside.

For now it won't be far and there'll be plenty of time to go back to thoughts,

To go back to your worries,

And to figure things out.

But right now it is about focusing on the breath.

So allow yourself to breathe in and breathe out.

Inhale in deeply and exhale it out completely.

When the mind gets distracted,

Bring it back.

Simply bring it back to your inhales and your exhales.

Life begins from the breath and ends with the breath.

What happens in between?

So that is up to you.

Therefore we must be conscious of what happens in between.

If we are aware of the how,

The simple connection to the breath,

That's all.

We notice if we are breathing long and deep or shallow and short.

And we stick with that.

We stick with that noticing the breath.

So inhale and exhale.

And take every step in each moment just as we take each breath.

One at a time.

So soften.

And in the body and in the breath.

Make it long,

Steady and deep.

As you inhale and you exhale.

Simply notice.

Actions mean limited relaxation.
