This is a guided visualization meditation starting with a grounding technique and developing an inner sanctuary that invites you to visit time and time again. This meditation is created and channeled in real time and may contain some background noises. The invitation here is to embrace the imperfections of life as opportunities rather than a nuisance. Welcome!

I'm so glad you're here today.

Thank you for taking the time to take care of yourself,

Your well-being,

And choosing my meditation.

Before we begin,

I'd like to let you know that this meditation contains guided visualization,

Including a grounding technique in the beginning,

And developing an inner sanctuary that you can return to time and time again.

So for this practice,

What I encourage you to do is settling into a comfortable seated position with your feet firmly in the ground,

Sitting on a seat that feels comfortable to you.

If you struggle to feel connected to your feet,

What I encourage you to do is pushing your feet on the ground gently which tightens your thighs,

And pushing your back against the seat beneath you.

Good.

Now let's take a deep breath,

A cleansing breath,

Before we begin.

Deep breath in through the nose,

And exhale through the nose or mouth as you allow your body to settle in to the seat beneath you.

Taking a deep breath in,

And gently exhaling and letting something go in this moment.

Let's take another deep breath in through the nose,

And as you exhale,

Allowing yourself to let go of the day thus far,

Putting a pin in whatever has yet to happen,

And just allowing yourself to be present in this moment.

I invite you to imagine your body sinking deeper into the surface beneath you.

Feel the ground supporting you.

You may notice your shoulders drop.

Your jaw and tongue relax.

Your mind may become more settled.

If there are any noises happening outside of you,

Or even in the background of this recording,

I encourage you to take all this input and bring you into a deeper state of relaxation.

Life happens,

So everything in our surrounding can become a source of relaxation if we so choose.

Now,

I invite you to visualize your feet deeply connecting to Earth beneath you,

Feeling these energy cords reaching from the bottoms of your feet and traveling all the way down into the core of the Earth,

And feeling that powerful energy traveling up through the Earth into your feet,

To your legs,

To your hips,

Your lower back,

Middle back,

Upper back,

Your arms,

Chest,

Your neck,

Up through the top of your head,

And traveling all the way into the sky,

And connecting to one or more planets of your choosing,

The Sun,

The Moon,

Mars,

Venus,

Mercury,

Jupiter,

Saturn,

Neptune,

Uranus,

Pluto,

One or more of the planet's cores,

Just feeling your energy just reach into the cosmos,

Even the stars,

Galaxies of your choosing,

And feeling that energy just traveling all the way down in through your crown to your third eye,

Your throat,

Filling your upper body,

Your arms,

You may feel your hands pulsating,

Feeling that energy traveling all the way down through your legs,

Out from the bottoms of your feet,

Through the Earth,

Into the core of the Earth,

And creating this beautiful loop of energy that travels up and down your spine at a pace that feels comfortable to you,

Allowing your breath to return to normal,

Inviting this energy as it travels through your system to pause and repair wherever it's needed,

No need to control,

No need to judge,

No need to label,

Just allow this energy to travel at a pace that feels comfortable to you,

And feeling your connection to all of existence getting stronger and stronger with each practice.

Now I invite you to bring your attention to your heart center,

And just feel the space there,

Notice the sensations with curiosity,

Gently lean in.

From this space we will begin a journey within.

I invite you to picture yourself standing at the edge of a path,

This path that leads to your own private sanctuary,

A peaceful place made just for you.

It can look and feel however you wish,

And as you begin to walk slowly along the path,

You feel lighter,

More at ease with each step.

The air is fresh and clean,

The path is soft beneath your feet.

You may notice the colors around you,

Vivid,

Calm,

Beautiful.

Birds may be singing,

Flying above you,

A breeze may be brushing against your skin,

Every sound here is soothing.

Every detail invites peace.

Soon your sanctuary appears to be for you.

This place may be a garden,

A forest clearing,

A cabin or even a room filled with light,

Books and blankets.

Whatever you see is exactly right for you.

There is no wrong way to create this space.

Now take a moment to look around.

Notice the shapes,

The textures,

The smells in the air.

Let yourself step fully into this beautiful space.

It welcomes you,

It holds you.

You may find a place to sit or rest within your sanctuary.

This is a space where nothing is expected of you,

Where you can just be.

For the next few moments,

The invitation is for you to immerse yourself in this space.

If your mind wanders,

Gently return to the sights and the sounds of this place.

Let warmth of this space fill your body,

Your breath,

Your soul.

If there's anything you need,

Clarity,

Comfort,

Release,

You can ask for it here.

This space listens.

This space comforts you,

Supports you.

Now,

I invite you to slowly begin to return from your sanctuary.

Gently walking back into the room where you are seated.

You can always revisit this place as long as you need,

Whenever you need.

Gently walking back into your body.

I invite you to begin to notice your breath again.

Feel your body where it touches the surface.

You may push your feet again into the ground.

Gently wiggling your toes and your fingers.

If you feel the need to stretch and yawn,

Taking a deep breath in and when you feel ready,

Gently opening your eyes as you exhale.

Another deep breath in and exhale.

I invite you to carry this sense of peace and safety that you cultivated throughout this journey with you.

Throughout your day.

You may revisit your sanctuary as often as you would like,

As long as you would like,

Knowing that it is a part of you.

Carving out this space and time for yourself is very important.
