Start to close the eyes or maybe an unfocused gaze if you find that this is more relaxing.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Notice your breath,

The shape and quality of your breath,

Allowing yourself to breathe a little deeper with each cycle.

And just give yourself time to arrive at this moment.

The night arrives and we give ourselves permission to dissolve into darkness,

Allowing ourselves to be finally able to rest our head on a pillow while we look beyond the hills and rivers that we have yet to cross towards our dreams.

We start to give our mind a break and our body the much needed rest it deserves.

Dropping into our heart space,

Noticing the way our heart beats,

The cadence,

The steady pulse,

Unhurried beyond our control.

And yet gives us nourishment and life,

Whether we notice the hard work or carry on without giving it a second thought.

Feeling our chest and belly move up and down this time,

How the air smoothly flows and gives life,

Yet oftentimes neglecting its presence.

With every breath,

Give yourself time at the end of the day to be reacquainted again with what's happening with our body and our mind.

Notice the breath,

The heartbeat.

Notice the space in between your breath.

The slight pause at the very top of the inhalation.

And that same pause at the very bottom of the exhalation.

Notice that by observing our breath or our heartbeat,

Our wandering mind starts to take us through the motion of time,

The backwards and forwards of time traveling.

Being melancholic about the past or predicting what will happen beyond this moment.

Taking stock of all the things that had happened during the day and anticipating how you can show up as you open your eyes each morning,

Looking out the window and wonder at our place in the stars.

Yet we find ourselves more than often looking down and worry about our place in the dirt,

Realizing that we are the ones standing in our own way.

As you keep breathing here,

Feel the support of the earth beneath you as you slowly relax even more.

Feel how the breath nourishes you even without your awareness.

Feel how your heart keeps you alive and nourished even without a single thought to it.

Feel how the entire universe supports you,

Whether you are aware of it or not.

See that with each exhale,

You notice parts in the body where you hold tension and tightness.

And these are the secret areas within you where you feel unsupported.

Where you feel the most unloved,

Where you feel you failed at the most.

And the way forward is to start letting go.

The noble act of surrender is to release yourself from the grip that keeps holding you back.

We hold on to stories,

Emotions,

And thought patterns that may have been long gone.

A history or her story,

That which keeps us from moving forward and upward in life.

Notice at this very moment the pinnacle of life,

The highest point where you feel safest,

The most nurtured,

The most supported.

Like that pause at the peak of your inhalation is the fullest expression of life.

While the space at the bottom of our exhalation is the completion of life.

Feel this moment how the entire universe conspires to support you in this act of surrender.

The most beautiful gift is learning that we are not in control even if we want to.

The more we are able to trust the journey,

The more fluid life becomes and how joyful life can become.

If we are able to relax into the moment without worrying about the rocks that may hit us.

To release ourselves from the stories we keep telling ourselves that we are not good enough,

Not worthy enough,

Not beautiful and smart enough.

Thinking about what we should have done better.

Like your breath and your heartbeat,

Even without your full control,

The beauty of allowing the universe to participate in the journey towards your dreams is knowing that you're always supported,

Seen and unseen.

The dance of the universe is simply that.

A dance floor where you and the universe can co-create your dreams,

Where you learn to lead and be led.

The dance between effort and surrender,

The art of showing up and putting in the work and the courage to offer it up to the universe to be a co-creator of a legacy you want to leave behind.

Start to bring into your mind's eye a goal or a dream that you may have.

Something that may have been long forgotten because we might have been told that it was too big,

Too challenging or ambitious.

Or if you have constantly thought about it and unable to take that first brave step.

Once you have it,

Notice the what's and the who's that are holding you down in the dirt.

Take your time here.

Thank you.

.

.

And slowly in your mind's eye,

You begin to release yourself from the grip that keeps holding you back.

.

.

That grip can be other people,

Circumstances,

Things that you believe to be impossible.

Or maybe you realize that as the dust settles,

It might also be you who's standing in your way.

Whenever you feel charged thoughts and emotions that knock you down,

Try to breathe through the chaos.

Feeling your breath and your heartbeat,

You begin to slowly take the courageous steps of offering that which you have no control over.

Offering the fruits of your effort and allow the universe to participate with you in this dance of creation.
