Hello lovely being.
I'm Bella.
I'm here to share with you some positive affirmations specially designed for anyone who is recovering or has been recovering or hopes to recover from struggles with addiction.
These positive affirmations work to begin to reprogram the negative patterns that we have embedded in our subtle bodies.
We tell ourselves things all day that are not positive,
That are not kind.
And we've been told these things from other people in our lives.
We've labeled ourselves addicts or weak.
We hold on to guilt.
Guilt serves no purpose.
Labels serve no purpose.
These negative words that we tell ourselves serve no purpose.
Only through self love and self acceptance can we truly find growth and be the best version,
The healthiest version of ourselves.
So I invite you to share these affirmations with me.
I'll repeat each one twice so you will have the chance to say them out loud with me.
If you feel more comfortable you can write them down or repeat them in your head.
Let's take three deep breaths.
In through your nose.
Exhaling slowly.
One more breath together.
I am becoming the best version of myself.
I am becoming the best version of myself.
I am grateful to be in sobriety.
I am grateful to be in sobriety.
A sober life is full of joy,
Balance,
And success.

I can and will succeed.

The power to live a sober life is within me.

I am strong,
Brave,
And capable.

I deserve a good life,
The life of my dreams.
I deserve a good life,
The life of my dreams.
I am grateful for all that I am.

I am exactly where I am supposed to be.

I accept myself because I'm alive and have the capacity to enjoy my existence.
I am not my behavior.
I am not my behavior.
I've got the power.
I've got the power.
Take a deep breath.
Let those words resonate with you and your mind.
It's normal that a lot of these words don't feel like the truth and that's exactly why we're saying them.
You fake it till you make it baby.
You repeat something long enough and you begin to believe it.
We've seen this as true.
If someone tells you something about yourself enough times,
Enough people say it,
One day you're going to believe it.
And that's why we need to say these positive affirmations,
These healthy things to ourselves.
And if we keep saying them long enough eventually one day we will believe them.
And once we believe these healthy things about ourselves we will begin to become them.
If you believe that you are healthy you will behave in a healthy way.
You will engage in healthy behaviors.
The first step is believing.
And that starts with telling yourself what to believe.
You choose what you want to believe about yourself.
You choose the words that you tell yourself and we do it subconsciously every day and that's why we need to consciously take back the mic and choose our positive affirmations.
I invite you to create your own or continue to use these.
I invite you to use them as many times a day as you can,
As many times as it takes until you begin to tell yourself these things on your own.
Until the day then you begin to believe these things on your own.
You are worthy of the purest love.
You are worthy of the utmost support in every form that you need.
And you are living your best life.
You are here right now.
You chose to open this app and click on this meditation.
You are choosing the healthy route.
You are choosing this journey to sobriety.
You are choosing the journey of truth,
Of clarity,
Of self-love.
And through practicing this self-love you are loving everyone around you by being the best version of yourself.
You can be the best father,
Mother,
Partner,
Lover,
Friend,
Co-worker,
Neighbor.
It all starts with loving yourself and that starts with what we're telling ourselves.
So I invite you today to start telling yourself these positive affirmations.
Have a wonderful day,
A wonderful evening,
And a wonderful life.
You deserve it.
