Whatever brought you here today,
I commend your courage for facing your feelings,
For facing yourself.
In the next 10 minutes,
We will feel,
Listen,
And begin to understand our feelings.
We will practice feeling our feelings.
It may be unappealing dealing with your feelings.
It may be painful and scary but it's worth it.
Healing happens by feeling.
And you're not alone,
Remember.
You are not alone.
Now I invite you on a journey inward.
A journey of feeling and healing.
No more concealing.
Get comfortable.
We are going far.
We are going deep.
Deep into the depths of yourself.
Breathe.
Explore your body.
Notice what you feel.
Find the sadness.
Where in your body are you storing sadness?
In your chest?
In your heart?
Find it.
Feel it.
Sit with it.
Sit with it.
Sit with it.
Even though you want to run,
Feel the sadness even though it's heavy and difficult.
Healing happens by feeling.
Feel the sadness and breathe in through your nose and out and listen.
What does my sadness need?
It might be telling me I need to cry.
Listen to your sadness and breathe.
And exhale allowing the sadness to leave your body.
Acknowledging that you are aware and you are listening and you will respond when you need to.
Where in your body are you storing loneliness?
In your shoulders?
In your eyes?
Find it.
Free it.
Feel it.
Let it flow.
Let the loneliness flow through your body.
Even though you want to run.
Even though you want to cover it up.
Repeat.
Healing happens by feeling.
We're facing our loneliness.
We're listening.
Our feelings are valid.
They have a message for us.
Breathe and listen.
What does my loneliness need?
Loneliness might be telling me I need connection.
I need to reach out.
I need to call a friend.
Listen and breathe.
And exhale allowing the loneliness to leave your body.
And move.
And breathe.
And find your shame.
Where in your body are you storing shame?
In your jaw?
In your back?
Find it.
Free it.
Feel it.
And let it flow.
Stay here.
Feel that shame.
And breathe through it.
And listen.
What does my shame need?
Shame might be telling me I need self-compassion.
I need self-love.
Listen to your shame and breathe and be.
And exhale allowing the shame to leave your body.
Where in your body are you storing resentment?
In your fists?
In your jaw?
Find it.
Feel it.
Sit with it.
Sit with it.
Sit with it.
It's okay to feel resentment.
What does my resentment need?
It might be telling me I need to forgive.
Listen to your feelings.
Listen to your resentment and breathe through it.
Exhale,
Allowing resentment to move through your body and leave.
Where are you storing anger?
In your teeth,
In your brows.
Find it.
Free it.
Feel it.
Let it flow.
Feeling happens by feeling.
Breathe and listen.
What does my anger need?
Listen.
Anger might be telling me I need to check in with my boundaries.
Am I communicating them?
Are they being respected?
Listen and breathe.
And exhale,
Allowing anger to leave your body.
Where in your body are you storing anxiety?
In your stomach?
In your cheeks?
Find it.
Free it.
Feel it.
Sit with it.
Sit with it.
Even though you want to run,
Even though it's heavy and difficult,
Feel your anxiety and listen to what it needs.
It might be telling me I just need to breathe.
It might be so simple.
Listen and breathe.
And breathe.
Exhale allowing anxiety to leave your body.
Acknowledging that you are listening to what it needs.
Repeat these affirmations.
I am done concealing.
I am ready for feeling.
I am ready for healing.
I am done concealing.
I am ready for feeling.
I am ready for healing.
Namaste.
