Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Yogi Brian.
Find a comfortable place for your body.
Either lying down,
Sitting on a chair,
Meditation cushion,
Or pillow.
Don't overthink it,
Just find a place where you can keep your body still.
Once you find that place,
Softly close your eyes.
Allow your body to arrive.
Allow your body to settle.
And all you have to do is breathe and listen to the sound of my voice.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Noticing your breath.
Clearing away any expectations for this meditation.
Clearing away any to-do lists for your day.
You're exactly where you need to be.
Right here,
Right now.
And every experience in your life brought you to this moment,
To this meditation.
And just notice your breath.
How does your breath feel?
Is it smooth?
Is it deep or is it shallow or choppy?
How does your breath feel?
How does your breath feel?
How does your body feel?
Take a scan of your body.
Visualize your body.
How does your body feel?
Asking yourself,
How do I feel?
Bring in your awareness to your thoughts to your mind.
Nothing to do or control with your thoughts.
Just allow the thoughts to roll in and roll out.
See the thoughts roll in and roll out.
Being the observer,
Watcher,
The seer.
And allow yourself to surrender.
Allow yourself to let go.
Giving yourself permission to relax.
Telling yourself,
I will relax.
Not yet,
But in just a moment.
I want you to count your breath.
I want you to count from 40 all the way to one.
And you'll inhale 40,
Exhale 39.
Inhale 38 and exhale 37.
Not yet,
But in just a moment.
I want you to do this from 40 to one.
And if you lose track,
Go back to 40.
But don't get frustrated.
Don't try to control this process.
Just allow your mind to relax as you count down from 40 to one.
Now go ahead,
Start the countdown from 40.
Breathe.
Allow the number to fade away.
Allow the count to fade away.
And relax even deeper here.
Nothing to do or control.
Whole body relaxes.
Whole body surrenders.
Whole body feels heavier and heavier and heavier.
I want you to imagine yourself in a canoe or a boat.
Floating down a stream.
A calm stream.
It's just you on this boat.
Whatever boat you like to imagine.
And you're lying down in this canoe or this boat.
And you feel the current of the stream.
And you're just going with the flow.
You're not fighting anything.
You're not controlling anything.
You're just allowing the stream,
This water,
To take you,
To guide you.
Going with the flow.
And you know this stream,
This water,
This current,
Has taken you exactly where you need to go.
Just like the universe.
Just like life.
Just like your present day.
Going with the flow.
Giving up control.
Surrendering to the process.
To the universe.
To your destiny.
And notice the feeling in your body as you're going with the flow as you're riding this current.
Notice the sense of ease in your body.
Notice your breath.
All you have to do is breathe and go with the flow.
Now think of any situations in your life that could benefit you if you went with the flow.
What situations in your life would this help you with?
Saying the affirmation to yourself silently,
I will trust in the process and allow the universe to guide me.
I will trust in the process and allow the universe to guide me.
Now take a nice deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale,
Open the mouth,
Sigh it out,
Let everything go.
You can remain here as long as you like.
