Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Yogi Brian,
And find a place where you can be still.
You can do this seated or lying down,
But find a place where you can be steady and still.
And once you find that place,
Softly and gently close your eyes,
And allow yourself to arrive.
Allow your mind to meet your body.
And oftentimes when you start a meditation,
Your mind may be all over the place,
Thinking about the day ahead or tomorrow or yesterday,
And that's okay.
And as you do this meditation,
As you breathe,
Your mind will naturally and intuitively calm down.
But right now,
Just invite your mind back to your room,
Back to your body.
Say,
Come on mind,
Come on back.
Come back here to the now,
To the present moment.
To the present moment.
And start to notice the sounds in your room,
Or the sounds outside your room.
And those sounds are supposed to be there,
And you're supposed to be here.
And those sounds relax you even more and more.
And during this meditation,
All you have to do is breathe,
And listen to the sound of my voice.
And at any time,
If your mind drifts away,
That's okay.
Just come back to the sound of my voice.
Now start to notice your breath.
Observe your breath.
And it's your natural breath.
Nothing to do or control with your breathing.
Just observe your breath.
Notice your breath.
Notice your inhale,
And your exhale.
Now start to take control of your breath.
With your mouth closed,
Breathe in and out through your nose,
And find a comfortable breath for you.
A steady,
Easy,
Comfortable breath for you.
An easy,
Comfortable,
Natural,
And steady breath.
There you go.
And you soon realize you're starting to relax.
You soon realize your mind is coming back to your body.
Now take a scan of your body.
Scanning the body,
Noticing the body.
How does your body feel?
How does your body feel?
And just allow your body to fully let go,
Fully relax.
Your body feels heavier and heavier.
Heavier and heavier each and every breath you take.
Your body sinks deeper and deeper into relaxed state.
And say silently to yourself,
I will.
I will relax.
I will relax.
Whole body relaxes now,
As you breathe and listen to the sound of my voice.
And as you listen to the sound of my voice and the shapes and the sounds and the vibrations in my voice,
My voice allows you to relax,
To sink deeper and deeper into relaxed state.
Now bring your awareness and attention to your thoughts and watch your thoughts,
Observe your thoughts.
Just be the witness to your thoughts.
You are more powerful than your thoughts.
So just watch your thoughts,
Observe,
Be the witness,
Allow the thoughts to roll in and roll out,
Just like you're watching your thoughts on a TV screen.
Now turn off that TV screen,
Turn off the TV screen and stop and listen to the sound of my voice.
Whole body relaxes,
Steady breath,
Steady body,
Steady mind.
And in just a moment,
I wonder if you can say silently this affirmation to yourself.
The affirmation is,
I am exactly where I need to be.
I am exactly where I need to be.
I need to be,
I am exactly where I need to be.
I am exactly where I need to be.
I am exactly where I need to be.
I am exactly where I need to be.
I am exactly where I need to be.
I am exactly where I need to be.
I am exactly where I need to be.
Because your whole life brought you to this moment right here,
Right now,
And the universe doesn't make any mistakes.
I am exactly where I need to be.
I need to be.
I am exactly where I need to be.
All your experiences,
Your entire life,
The good times,
The bad times brought you to this meditation,
To this moment right here,
Right now.
No mistakes.
Saying silently to yourself,
I am exactly where I need to be.
