Begin meditation by taking a few breaths and a few moments to find a comfortable position,
To settle the body,
To find the breath,
Lengthen the spine,
Relax the shoulders,
And begin noticing each inhale and each exhale,
And then use a few breaths to breathe into the legs,
Inhaling in oxygen and life,
Exhaling out stress,
Tightness,
And tension.
Visualize the goodness going in and the negativity flowing out,
And sending the breath into the torso,
Filling the torso up,
Expanding the ribcage,
Exhaling out stress,
Tightness,
And tension.
And then breathe into the face,
Throat,
Arms,
And hands,
Feel the breath expand,
Filling the arms,
Exhale out tension,
Stress,
And tightness.
Feel the wave of the inhales as it fills the entire body,
And the rush of air as you exhale.
Maybe notice the coolness of the inhale,
And the warmth of the exhale,
And feeling fully settled in,
Turn your focus inward,
And allow your mind to think about your daily life,
Work,
Family,
Home,
Personal time and space,
Finances,
Relationships,
Faith,
Community,
And spend a few moments on each area of your life.
Consider the spectrum of scarcity to abundance,
Lack to plenty,
And where do you fall on the spectrum in each area?
Do you feel abundance,
Or do you feel you're clinging to barely enough,
And with each area before moving to the next?
Repeat silently to yourself three times the following mantra,
There is enough,
I have what I need.
There is enough,
I have what I need.
There is enough,
I have what I need.
Whether the area is one in which you feel abundant or scarce,
Repeat the mantra,
There is enough,
I have what I need.
There is enough,
I have what I need.
There is enough,
I have what I need.
Continue moving through those areas of your life,
Knowing that you will continue to work and strive,
Remind yourself you also have everything you need right now,
You are here,
You are enough,
There is enough,
And there is enough in the world for you,
There is enough,
I have what I need,
There is enough,
I have what I need,
There is enough,
I have what I need,
There is enough,
I have what I need,
And begin feeling that breath again,
The waves of inhales and exhales,
Inhale in feelings of abundance,
And exhale out worries of scarcity,
Inhale in the freeness of knowing you are enough,
And exhale out the tendency to cling to what we have,
Slowly begin bringing your awareness back to your space,
Back to the world around you,
Knowing that your mindset and mantra are coming with you,
That you will face the day,
The week,
The month,
The year,
With a sense of overflowing abundance,
There is enough,
I have what I need,
Thank you for joining me for meditation,
Namaste.
