Welcome to my guided meditation on self-esteem.
Find a comfortable space to sit or relax in a way that truly lets you feel safe and secure.
Once you find your space,
Take a few deep inhales in and sigh your exhales out.
Deep breath in.
Long sigh out.
Again,
Big breath in and sigh the exhale out.
Check in to make sure that you're comfortable and gently close your eyes.
Just notice the natural rhythm of your breath.
Every exhale you're taking,
You feel the body relax even more.
Thoughts in the mind will come and go,
But again,
Those exhales help release the thoughts that aren't serving you in this moment,
In each moment to come.
You feel this softness and this relaxation start at the top of your head.
They trickle through the face,
Relaxing the forehead and the eyes,
Relaxing the jaw and the tongue.
And feeling the sensation move down the neck and the shoulders,
Through the arms and the hands and the fingers and thumbs.
Down the chest and the back,
Through the torso,
Into the hips,
Down the legs,
Into the feet,
And each one of your toes.
Allowing yourself just to be and reminding yourself that you're right where you need to be.
You're right where you need to be physically.
You're right where you need to be mentally.
You're right where you need to be emotionally.
And you're right where you need to be spiritually.
Sometimes we have to check in and acknowledge that life is a work in progress.
Just like when you stop a river from flowing,
It stagnates.
And life is just that,
It's a flow.
There are ups,
There are downs.
If we allow ourselves to move with these little shifts in life,
We can really feel that we're right where we are supposed to be.
And in this moment,
I want you to bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
Noticing the beat of your heart,
The gentle rise and fall of your chest as you continue to allow your breath to be exactly how it is.
And I want you to say to yourself,
I am enough.
And say that phrase again to yourself,
I am enough.
Allow your heart to soak in this phrase,
Noticing any sensations as you tell yourself again,
I am enough.
You have learned so much through this journey called life.
And you will continue to learn and evolve.
You're doing the best that you can.
The voice we hear the most in our life is our own.
And when things get challenging for others,
We're always there with words of encouragement.
And we don't often save those words of encouragement for ourselves.
Anytime that you doubt who you are,
Or where you are in life,
Remind yourself,
You are enough,
And you are right where you need to be.
Too many times we've programmed our mind to focus on where we've made mistakes.
What we feel we should have done,
What we feel we could have done,
And reflecting on what we did do with too much judgment.
Remind yourself that you did the best that you knew how to do.
And through your experiences,
You gained knowledge that nobody can take away from you.
And this knowledge has given you tools to keep reaching to your best self.
I want you to imagine that you're looking at your reflection in a mirror.
And I want you to smile to yourself,
A gentle,
Genuine smile.
And look at yourself in your eyes,
Our windows to our souls.
And tell yourself,
I am enough.
I am enough.
Continue to look at that reflection,
Staring into your own eyes,
And reminding yourself that you were created with perfection.
There were no mistakes in your design.
You are who you were truly meant to be.
And you're only going to get better and stronger.
You are enough.
You can start to bring just some gentle awareness to the position that you found yourself in for this meditation.
Allowing your fingers and your toes to just wiggle gently.
And slowly bring one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly.
And again,
Tell yourself,
I am enough.
I am enough.
Really feel this in your heart and your soul.
I am enough.
Take another deep inhale in.
Part your lips and sigh it out.
One more time,
Deepest breath you can imagine taking.
And sigh out that exhale,
Letting go of any doubts about who you are.
And when you feel ready,
You can blink your eyes open.
Allowing your world to be a brighter place.
Feel of patience and unconditional love for yourself.
Namaste.
