Hello and welcome to this meditation.

My name is Jo and today we will be doing a meditation focusing on each part of our body and thanking our body for being there for us and for keeping us alive every single day.

So finding a comfortable seated position,

Gently closing your eyes,

Take a deep breath in here through your nose,

Filling your lungs and then exhale out through your mouth.

Arriving here in this present moment,

Letting go of anything that happened before or anything that you feel you need to do afterwards and just bring your awareness,

Bring your attention right here right now.

Feeling your sit bones grounding down into the earth into the floor beneath you.

Feeling the crown of your head reaching towards the sky.

Relaxing your shoulders,

Maybe relaxing your jaw,

Your eyes,

Your forehead,

Releasing any tension and then we'll bring our awareness to our feet.

If you can,

You can touch your feet,

Maybe giving the souls of your feet a little massage,

Thanking your feet for carrying you for being there to support you every day.

Feeling the ground beneath your feet and then we can move our hands up towards our cars,

Placing our hands on our cars and thanking our cars,

Thanking our lower legs for being there,

Bringing our hands up to our thighs,

Sending thanks to our thighs,

To our whole legs for carrying us where we want to go,

For being there for us every day.

Then you can bring your hands onto your pelvis,

Feel your pelvis,

Feel your hips,

Thank your hips,

Thank your pelvis for being there to steady you as the connection between your legs and your upper body where the energy is transferred from the ground into the rest of your body.

Then bringing your hands onto your belly,

Maybe feeling the rising and falling of your breath,

Thanking your belly,

Thanking your digestive system,

Your gut,

Everything that lies underneath this part of your body,

Sending thanks for everything that it does every single day without us even realising.

Then bringing our hands onto our lower back,

Feeling the warmth of our hands,

Sending thanks to our lower back,

Bringing our hands up to our chest,

Placing our hands on our chest,

Maybe feeling our heart beating,

Thanking our heart for being there,

For pumping blood around our body,

For feeling hard things,

For feeling good things,

Happy things.

Then bring your hands onto your arms,

Thanking your arms for being there as an extension of your heart to hug people,

To be creative with,

To do things with,

Thanking your arms.

Then you can bring your hands maybe onto your shoulders and your neck,

Maybe give yourself a little neck massage,

Thanking your neck,

Thanking your shoulders.

Then you can bring your hands onto your face,

Imagining healing energy coming out of your hands into your face,

Thanking your eyes for seeing all that they see,

Thanking your nose,

Thanking your mouth,

Thanking your ears,

Sending gratitude to your whole body for the amazing things that it does for you every single day.

Then you can place your hands back onto your lap,

Feeling yourself here,

Maybe feeling the remnants of where your hands were touching your body,

The warmth from your hands in those places,

Sending gratitude,

Feeling yourselves in every single part of your body buzzing with golden healing energy.

Then you can bring both of your hands onto your heart,

Thanking yourself for doing this practice,

Thanking your body once again,

Maybe smiling to yourself,

Giving yourself a little hug and then gently opening your eyes.

Have a lovely rest of your day.
