Welcome to this guided meditation on Manipura chakra.
Manipura is the third chakra and it's located at the solar plexus which is between the navel and the heart.
This chakra is associated with accepting yourself,
Having good self-esteem and being personally powerful in the external world.
Feeling self-confident,
Taking the right action,
Being self-responsible and disciplined and having a sense of belonging are signs of a balanced Manipura chakra.
Its colour is predominantly yellow and its sound is Ram.
Please make yourself as comfortable as you possibly can be.
You might choose to lie down or to sit up as long as you feel very comfortable.
You might choose to have your eyes open or closed and you can open or close your eyes whenever you like.
Please remember that you're in complete control and you can move whenever you like and however you like.
You could now try to gently bring your attention to your breath.
Noticing your natural breath.
There's no need to try and breathe in any particular way.
Gently noticing your natural breath in and your natural breath out.
There's no right or wrong way of breathing here.
It's a practice of being aware of breathing.
Being aware of your natural breath in and your natural breath out.
You might be able to allow your breath to become very smooth,
Very relaxed.
And as your breath becomes more smooth it might help bring about feelings of calmness and feeling centered and grounded.
You could now bring your awareness to your solar plexus located deep inside between the navel and the heart.
Taking a few moments just to notice anything you notice and feel anything you might feel,
Any sensations you might notice around the solar plexus.
Maintain your awareness at your solar plexus while at the same time bringing your attention back to your natural breath.
So now you're keeping your focus on your solar plexus as well as your natural breath.
When your mind wanders bring your attention back to the breath and back to Manipura chakra,
Solar plexus.
If you find it's easy to keep your awareness either on your breath or the solar plexus choose one and allow your attention to settle here.
You might now bring to mind the colour yellow.
Sensing the colour yellow in any way you wish.
Perhaps imagine the yellow colour of a lemon or a banana or a glowing sunflower.
In your mind's eye allow the yellow image to transform into a yellow liquid or a yellow light or a yellow mist and imagine it all around and within your solar plexus.
Sensing a cleansing yellow liquid,
A glowing yellow light or a healing yellow mist in and all around your solar plexus.
Manipura chakra represents the life lesson that you have the right and the responsibility to have inner strength.
You have the right to feel positive about yourself and you have the right to act with abundant energy.
Resolving and letting go of the shame of expressing and enjoying your own uniqueness and strength is healthy and it's a lesson of the third chakra.
To help integrate these lessons into your whole being you might repeat the following either out loud or silently.
I have the right to act.
I have the right to feel positive about my true self.
I have the right to act.
I have the right to feel positive about my true self.
Notice what happens as you say these statements to yourself.
How do you react to these basic rights?
I have the right to act.
I have the right to feel positive about my true self.
I release and let go of shame.
I am healthy and happy in body,
Mind,
Heart and soul.
I am confident.
I am responsible.
I am my true self.
The next part of the meditation involves the use of sound.
The sound of Manipura chakra is Ram.
Ram.
The sound of Ram will send a healing vibration to strengthen and balance this chakra.
You can repeat the mantra Ram either out loud or silently.
Breathe in and then repeat Ram as you exhale.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Keep repeating this on every exhale.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
With your awareness focused all around the solar plexus area.
You might even start to feel the sound of Ram vibrating all around the solar plexus.
And as you stop chanting Ram,
Maintain your awareness around the solar plexus and notice any sensations you might notice here.
Now take a few moments on your own to focus on the location,
The colour,
The affirmations or sounds of Manipura chakra.
Follow your own intuition.
You could focus on sensations at the solar plexus,
The colour yellow,
Your right and responsibility to be true to yourself,
To release shame,
To be confident.
You might be more comfortable repeating Ram.
Simply follow your own intuition for a few moments.
Now take a few moments to focus on the sound of Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
Ram.
And to begin your transition back you might become more aware of your Perhaps even deepening the breath a little.
Becoming more aware of the surface supporting you.
Maybe hearing a little more.
When you feel ready perhaps a little movement back in the body.
Fingers,
Eyes,
Tongue.
And when you feel ready you can start to move in any way that feels comfortable and right for you.
Thank you so much for joining me in this guided meditation on Manipura Chakra.
