Good morning and welcome to this morning meditation.

Come to your meditation seat or sit on a chair.

Make sure you're grounded with your seating bones and that your spine is straight.

Close your eyes.

Feel all the touching points with the ground and let your breath slowly get deeper.

Morning has a special energy.

The world is awakening.

Try to feel this energy in your own body.

Feel the air on your skin.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your jaw.

Let your chin drop a tiny bit so that the back of your head goes up.

And feel the air coming in your nostrils and follow it through your throat until deep in your stomach.

If thoughts are arising,

Don't fight them,

But also don't follow them.

Just bring your attention softly back to your breath.

Relax your eyelids.

Relax your lips.

And now bring your attention to your ear and what you hear in this moment.

Which sounds can you perceive?

Of course it's more beautiful to listen to the birds than to the cars.

But try not to judge,

But just perceive.

Just perceive and ask yourself,

Who is it in you who's hearing?

Are you your perception or are you the silence,

The observer behind it?

Which taste do you have in your mouth?

Don't judge,

Also hear,

Just perceive.

Are you the perception or is there one layer behind it,

A silent observer?

Your shoulders are relaxed.

Your back is straight.

Your ears are relaxed.

And now withdraw all your attention from your senses and look inside of you.

What do you feel in this moment?

What emotion is there?

Perceive but don't judge.

Are you this emotion or are you the observer of this emotion?

Relax your jaw.

Feel the air on your skin.

And now think of someone or of something for whom or for what you're grateful for.

How does gratitude feel?

Maybe you can feel gratitude very subtle in your body.

What does this feeling do with you?

Maybe it gives you a little smile on your face.

Relax your shoulders.

Breathe a few more times deep into your stomach.

I wish you a wonderful day with beautiful experiences,

With serenity and with much love for you,

Your beloved ones and this life.

Namaste.

This was exactly what I needed. I was looking for something to help ground me as part of a 30 min sit. This was simple and to the point. Soothing. Some other mindfulness meditations were too long or too complex. This was "just right". Thank you.

Thank you for this lovely morning meditation, your way of guiding through the pose, the breathing, the don't fight-don't follow thoughts awareness was very helpful and hit the spot for me :) I'll come back to this, namaste!

I actually intended to choose one of your other meditations & accidentally clicked the one instead, but I think I was meant to do this one. I've been experiencing cognitive distortions recently - the negative thoughts - and this reminded me that my thoughts are not reality. My fears & insecurities are perceptions, my own garbage. They are not truth. 👐

Amazing. This helped me to think of emotions and not be the emotion. To perceive without judging and mostly reminded me that I am most grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ and his word. Through a sense of gratitude I move the Godfidence I need daily. Thank you for your guided meditation
