Welcome to your morning check-in,
Morning meditation.
Setting yourself up for the day ahead,
Allowing a few moments of connection and checking in with yourself,
Noticing how you're feeling before you take on the day.
Finding a comfortable position,
Whether you're seated or lying down,
Allowing yourself to get comfortable and feel supported.
Beginning to notice how you're feeling today.
How did you arrive into this day?
How are you feeling?
Knowing that however it is that you feel,
It's very valid and welcomed here in this space.
Let's take a resetting breath here,
Inhaling through the nose if it's comfortable,
Filling yourself up from bottom to top,
And open mouth,
Exhale all of your air.
And again,
Breathing in,
Filling yourself up,
And a big exhale out the mouth.
Last one here,
Breathe in and breathe it out.
Throughout this practice,
The intention is to connect with a sense of gratitude,
Of compassion and grace for yourself and your current experience,
Reminding yourself that you are right on time and that there's no other place that you should,
Quote unquote,
Should be.
That in this moment,
You are whole.
And as one of my favorite teachers says,
That you are a work in progress and a masterpiece at the same time.
Repeat after me,
Today is going to be a great day.
I trust myself.
I am capable of doing hard things.
This too shall pass.
I am grateful for my body and all that it does for me.
I am supported.
I am loved.
I am grateful for today.
I am right on time.
Today's going to be a great day.
Breathe in deeply here and breathe it out.
Inhale,
Expand with breath and exhale to release.
One more inhale and exhale.
Wiggle your feet,
Your toes,
Your hands,
Fingers.
Blink your eyes open if they aren't already.
Maybe placing your hands somewhere along the body,
Filling your hands with breath and connecting with something in your space that brings you joy.
