A guided practice/meditation to help us reassess the ideas and beliefs that each of us define our identity from. I invite you through this practice to challenge those beliefs and reframe them into something new, less bounding and more harmonic with the reality around us. Some say I think therefore I exist, well those thoughts are shaped by our ideas and beliefs, so in short this practice is aimed to help each of us mold its own shape. It´s own persona. This is the second practical exercise of my recently published book "Consciousness Triangulation", if you want to go deeper into these subjects be sure to google it. Best wishes and thank you for showing interest!

Hello everyone.

I hope everyone is doing well and I'm happy to share here another exercise for you.

This one is about self-inquiry,

About questioning our own beliefs and how they are limiting our day-to-day lives.

This practical exercise can also be found in my book which I highly recommend you to reach out and look for,

Because I think that you might benefit a lot.

So without further ado,

I'd like to begin this exercise.

I want you to choose a thought or a belief.

Select an idea or an assumption that you often find yourself holding and that you would like to change.

Could be related to your abilities,

To your worthiness,

To your relationships or to any aspect of your life really.

And now,

Just as before,

Let's set an intention and clarify this intention before we start.

So make it clear that your aim is not to criticize yourself or others,

But it is to seek fluidity and growth.

Now say your intention out loud.

Now I would like you to gently question the chosen thought or belief.

Ask yourself,

Is this thought absolutely true?

Allow yourself to explore it from different angles.

Are there any exceptions or instances where this belief might not hold true?

I'd like for you to dig deeper.

Always try to seek the root.

Realize that everything that we perceive from our reality has an origin within ourselves.

Ask yourself where this belief might have come from.

Is it based on past experiences,

Societal expectations or comparisons with others?

Is it the result of conditioning from childhood?

Find its source within you and contemplate its origin as clearly as you can.

I'd like for you to consider how this belief influences your thoughts,

Your emotions and your actions on a daily basis.

Just like the tree roots itself to the ground,

An idea or a belief an idea or a belief does the same to your reality.

It entangles with you,

Solidifying its grip in relation to how strong you believe in it.

So ask yourself,

Does it empower or limit you?

How does it affect your self-esteem and relationships?

Challenge this belief by considering alternative perspectives of it.

Even consider why this is present in your life.

Depending on how hard you believe in it,

The more it solidifies within you.

Are there any alternative ways of viewing the situation that are more empowering or that provide an insight into the situation you're in?

A lesson not yet recognized or learned?

I'd like for you that throughout this process you treat yourself with compassion.

But not self-pity,

Not self-indulging debilitating ideas of compassion.

Instead,

A compassion that involves acknowledging the energetic interplay between all things.

It's not about helping others when they're in need.

It's about recognizing the depth of the impact of one's intentions and actions on the grander web of energy that connects all life.

Someone that sees is guided by his compassion,

Becoming aware of how their self is influencing the world around them and strives to align their actions with the greater harmony of the fundamental flow of energy.

This compassion I speak of is so much more than just feeling sympathetic.

It's about truly grasping the depth of the repercussions of our actions on a much deeper level and taking action in an unbiased,

Detached,

Yet empathetic way that improves the flow of energy.

Even the simple act of existing is already playing an active role,

Regardless of you being aware or taking an apparent action or not.

Remember that self-inquiry isn't about judging yourself.

It's about questioning reality and attempting to peek behind the veil of existence through it.

Depending on your exploration today,

You might want to choose to reframe this belief or to simply and consciously release it if it no longer serves you.

This is the moment of transformation,

The moment in which the idea can be reforged into something new or simply discarded to prevent further limiting of our perception.

I would like for you to take three deep breaths as you return to this present moment.

Notice how opening yourself to changing or letting go of established ideas about you and life can profoundly transform what we are.

Recognize that the ego will fight any questioning of what it identifies with by reacting impulsively.

Observe and do not react if this happens.

Go to the root of it.

Remember,

Always find its origin.

An idea can either bind us or set us free.

The choice is yours.

Feel your body and return to the everyday world where these changes will reverberate.

Ultimately,

In the path of an ever-evolving consciousness,

The release of absolutely all is what one strives for.

Yet,

For a healthy balance throughout the process of attaining this state,

One has to experience a myriad of contrasts which are provided by the introduction,

Reshaping and self-adopting of beliefs and ideas.

So just remember that once the river has been crossed,

There is no need to drag the boat along in your journey.

And with this,

I conclude another exercise from my book Consciousness Triangulation.

I hope that this resonates with you and if you'd like to find out more,

Please don't hesitate on reaching out to me.

And I wish you the best.
