Letting your eyes close,

Feeling into your seat,

Feeling into your feet,

They're touching the ground,

Letting a bit of heaviness come into the feet so that we are grounding into this earth mother from whom we come and whom we will return.

Feeling into your legs,

All the way up to the hips,

Torso,

Feeling into the arms,

The fingertips,

This dexterity that allows us to do so much.

Feeling into the shoulders that often carry the weight of the world and letting yourself find a big breath,

Inhaling and letting out some of that weight as you exhale.

Knowing that it's not yours to carry alone and that as you step into this threshold of cozy cosmos of this community that is gathering to honor and revere our wild nature and the nature both within and outside of us,

That weight automatically gets balanced,

Transferred,

Spread out so that we can all carry some of it together,

So that we can dissolve it,

So that we can rise and sit tall with the spine leading up towards the cosmos,

Letting your shoulders open,

Letting the heart open,

Breathing deeply directly into the heart space,

Letting it expand on the inhale,

The rib cage opening to allow breath in,

Life in.

And on the exhale,

Letting your whole body heave with an exhale,

Letting the physical self be supported by mama earth,

By the original mother,

Sitting tall with the spine,

Letting that spine reach up like an antenna,

Going towards the heavens,

The giants,

The titans in the sky,

Asking that we tune in for this call tonight,

Asking that we can breathe the same breath of one another,

That we can remember our humanity,

That we can remember why we're here,

Far beyond the mundane tasks of our everyday life,

And that we can do those same tasks with the reverence of the spiritual journey when we're doing the dishes and putting our kiddos to bed and talking to a friend for a brief moment when we're connecting with a stranger at the grocery store,

That in those moments we really find the reverence for this sacredness of this life,

That we honor it,

That this once a month chance to take ourselves out of that and to think with the extraordinary expansive nature of the cosmos allows us to go back into our daily lives and do all of that with just a little bit more richness and a little bit more tenderness.

And today if I was going to think of a word that I am feeling,

It is tender.

My heart is tender.

My fingers feel softer when I touch the earth today and when we walk a little softer on the earth and when we allow ourselves to find in each moment the tension that we're holding and to breathe into it and to let it go,

We come back home.

And that's what Cancer Season is really about,

Is coming home,

Going inward,

Going to the root of the feelings of the tears,

The place where tears originate.

We go back,

All the way back to the wellspring that created life,

The fertile creation that created each of us here in this space,

And we honor that we can do this through our connection with our deep ancestors.

So I'm not talking right now about the ones that are living with us,

Although we'll get there,

But I'm bringing us way,

Way,

Way,

Way,

Way back thousands and thousands and thousands of years back,

Imagining the ancestors that lived in communion with nature,

That lived in caves or fields,

The ones that may have not even had fire.

Can you imagine that?

Were they cells?

Were they tiny,

Tiny,

Tiny,

Tiny little creatures?

Where did that life spring forth from?

And in that moment,

There was the biggest dreams,

The biggest hopes that consciousness could hold,

That one day there would be humans that wanted to evolve our souls,

That wanted to bring everything that we are to this earth.

To heal it,

To heal one another.

And we are the dreams of those way,

Way,

Way,

Way,

Way back ancestors.

And if we think about it,

All time folds in on top of one another.

What is time?

They are right here in this moment with us.

So today,

I want to call way,

Way,

Way far into the deep ancestry of all of those who are gathering here with only benevolent intentions,

Only those that are helping us to evolve for the highest good for all involved are welcome here in this space.

We ask that the unseen arrives here,

That it plants itself within us,

That we can speak for our ancestors,

That we can heal with our ancestors,

That we can breathe with the sun and the moon and the stars.

And that brings us into the now,

Into our bodies here,

Into our souls,

Into our living ancestors and those that have yet to come through us or through the ones we love.

And we invite all of their playful spirits to come and be with us.

The radiant ones,

The well ones that are still yet to come that are a twinkle in our eyes.

We play and we remember joy for them.

We remember that it's not supposed to be so hard all the time.

And it is for the ancestors back and the ancestors forward that we're here.

And we invite all of them,

All of them to be here with us,

That they are welcome here in this space.

So they choose to help us evolve for the highest good for all involved.

May all of our ancestors be happy and at peace.

May our living families be happy and at peace.

May we be happy and at peace.

May all future generations of our family receive only blessings and love from our ancestors.

May our ancestors guide us on our path of destiny and purpose.

And may we embody their love and wisdom for the benefit of all of our relations.

May all of our ancestors and all of our family be happy and at peace.

And if you just want to repeat one more time internally,

Softly with a whisper,

May I be happy and at peace.

May I be happy and at peace.

May I be happy and at peace.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.
