So often we hold tension and stress within the gut. This guided visualization will help you to recognize tension with the torso and then walk you through transforming that sensation to a place of peace and health. You will experience a place of peace and calm from within that will resonate even after the track is done. Background music courtesy of Nathan Moore.

Begin by getting into a comfortable position that feels natural and normal for you.

Feel free to shift your shoulders,

Your neck,

Your torso.

Move your body in order to find a stillness and comfort.

Then go ahead and begin to increase the amount of air filling your lungs,

Breathing air in through your nose and out through your mouth,

Allowing yourself to be more aware and more present within your torso,

Within your gut.

With each breath in through the nose,

Increasing awareness,

Increasing relaxation with each breath out,

Allowing for a sense of detox,

Allowing for a sense of calm.

With this next breath in,

We're going to bring awareness and attention up towards the top of the head,

Bringing relaxation to the eyebrows,

The ears,

The jaw,

Allowing the jaw to relax open,

Bringing relaxation throughout the throat and the neck,

Tops of the shoulders,

Shoulder blades,

The elbows,

The hands,

Allowing your hands to fall open,

Bringing relaxation throughout your chest,

Throughout your heart and your lungs,

Throughout your gut,

Throughout your spine.

With this next breath in,

Bringing relaxation throughout the hips,

The knees,

The feet,

And then creating a sense of grounding into the ground below you,

Envisioning roots coming from the bottoms of your feet and grounding into wherever you are,

Allowing you to feel more present,

More connected,

More secure.

The focus of this meditation is to go ahead and release and relieve tension within the gut.

So often we hold tension,

We hold tightness,

We hold stuck emotions,

We hold confusing scenarios within our gut.

So today we're going to allow for whatever is willing and able and ready to release,

To go ahead and do so,

To create more calm,

To create better digestion,

To create better mental health,

To create a place internally that feels better,

That feels more secure.

Go ahead and envision within that gut,

We're going to envision an orb or a ball that is filled with light.

I want you to envision it and also to imagine what that sensation might feel like if you had this beautiful light right there inside of you and this beautiful light that is not only able to shine,

Not only able to light up the interior,

But also to penetrate to every cell,

To every organ,

Every tiny biological piece of you.

And as you envisioned this orb or the circle,

I want you to also imagine and associate a bright sense of warmth,

Envisioning that warmth throughout the gut,

Envisioning this warmth penetrating all the way through to your belly button,

All the way back through your spine,

From side to side,

Filling that space.

And the more that you notice it,

The more that you recognize it,

The larger it becomes,

The more you can sense it,

The more you could feel it.

And noticing how quickly our imagination,

How quickly our awareness can expand and allow this large,

Beautiful light to expand within us.

Now filling all the way up into your chest cavity and all the way past your hips,

Filling larger than even that stomach space.

As we allow for this light,

As we allow for this warmth,

Go ahead and take a breath in through the nose and then blow it out through your mouth.

And as you let that breath out,

Visualize and imagine that with that breath out,

We have a sense of detox.

We have a sense of letting go.

With each breath in,

We have that awareness.

With each breath out,

We have that sense of letting go of detox.

And we're trusting the body in this system.

We're trusting the body to be present.

We're trusting the body to make aware,

To bring forward what is ready to be released.

What is ready to be let go of.

What is ready to shed.

As you continue,

These mindful breaths,

Allowing for that awareness with the breath in and that detox with the breath out.

Also allowing a sense of letting go,

Of relaxation within the gut,

Within the torso,

Allowing for that light to penetrate every cell,

Every organ,

To bring relaxation,

To bring light,

To bring healing,

To bring a sense of peace,

To bring a sense of groundedness and calm.

And in so doing,

Allow that release.

Allow that shedding of whatever is ready to detox,

Whatever is ready to move on.

And allow that visual of it simply just falling to the floor below you to be recycled into the earth.

Go ahead and take a breath in through the nose,

A big cleansing,

Aware breath,

Filling the torso,

Filling the chest,

Allowing relaxation within the neck and the shoulders,

And then breathe that breath out through your mouth.

And in so doing,

Allowing that cleansing,

Allowing that detox,

Allowing a let go of tension.

And with that letting go of tension,

With that letting go of tightness and stress,

For also helping to retrain the body,

Helping to retrain its stress response,

Helping to retrain the brain.

We're allowing for this space of the body to allow light,

To allow awareness,

To allow peace,

To allow love,

To allow gratitude,

To allow connection.

Focus again on the light and the warmth,

And notice how large that light looks now,

Much larger than how it started.

Notice the sensations that you feel within your own body as you become more aware of that light,

More sensitive to that light.

Notice that with that relaxation within the gut,

With that cleansing,

With that healing throughout the gut,

You also get a sense of calm throughout the rest of the body,

Through the jaw,

The neck,

The spine,

The hips,

Through the knees,

The feet.

A general relaxation when we focus on bringing relaxation and light to the gut.

If you feel so inclined,

You can go ahead and put your hand on top of your belly button,

Magnify that sense of warmth,

To magnify that sense of awareness within the stomach.

We're going to go ahead and allow for gratitude.

A lot of time when we have that stress or tension within the gut,

And we then feel that tension maybe within digestion,

Within the way that we are responding to the world around us,

We tend to blame the gut.

We tend to blame and to feel insecure with the gut.

We sometimes feel like it is incomplete or broken or not capable of what we want it to be capable of.

So with your hand on your stomach at this time,

I want you to allow for a sense of forgiveness and allowing yourself to connect to your gut in a way that feels compassion,

That feels intense love and gratitude,

That feels like a sense of belonging and helps you to feel like your gut is exactly as it should be,

And also a sense of being more aware and letting your gut know that you will be more responsive to it.

You will be more aware of stresses.

You will be more aware of stress reduction and things that you can do in order to create a space of peace,

Treating the body and treating the stomach and treating the gut as well as you can.

With this next breath in,

Go ahead and allow for awareness within the chest,

Within the shoulders,

Allowing for that relaxation,

Bringing that awareness.

And then as you take a breath out,

Allowing for again,

Detox,

Cleansing,

Letting go of what is ready to let go.

As you brought forgiveness,

As you brought awareness,

Now allowing for a sense of healing within the gut.

With that sense of healing,

With the awareness and the space within your torso that will feel better and feel healthier,

You have the ability to have stronger connection with your body.

Our gut is so incredibly important within our physical body system.

It's important within the gut and the brain circuit as we tend to and love and support our gut.

We have better outcomes within our thoughts.

When we have better thoughts that feel more in tune,

We then have better awareness of our gut.

We have this beautiful cycle,

This beautiful awareness that goes back and forth and we can work on both ends of it at the same time.

We can work on the gut,

We can work on the stomach and we can work through the brain at the same time.

As you bring that gratitude towards the gut and also a promise and the intention to treat it well,

You will have more awareness of what types of things might serve your stomach and your gut better.

Whether that is stress reduction,

Being in more peaceful places and environments,

Health and nutrition,

Exercise,

Sleep,

All of these pieces are a piece to the puzzle to create a more secure and healing and promising gut foundation.

With this next breath in,

Allowing breath to come into the gut through the lungs,

Through the torso,

Bringing relaxation to the jaw,

The shoulders,

The spine.

As you breathe that breath out,

Allowing for space to think new thoughts,

To have better intuition,

To have intuition from the gut,

To have more space,

To have a space for light and for warmth.

Again,

Focus on your hand,

On your belly button.

Feel that warmth throughout your hand and feel that warmth throughout your stomach,

Magnifying that healing light,

Magnifying that goodness inside of you.

You can come back to this place at any time.

You can come back to yourself,

Back to your gut at any time to re-center,

To feel that stability,

To feel that closeness,

To feel more like yourself than you ever have before.

Thank you for joining this meditation.

I love this meditation and use it daily to heal diverticulosis. The warmth and light bring healing with the in breath and with the out breath, toxins leave the gut. Tremendous healing is in this exchange. Thank you to the creator of this gift of healing.💜💜💜
