Welcome to this short reset meditation.

I am delighted to guide you through a five-minute meditation for busy moms.

This session will help you to relax and get a few minutes solely for you because we all know that everything you do is for your family.

So enjoy these five minutes that are just for you.

When you're ready,

Go ahead and get into a nice comfortable seated position.

And if you like,

You may close your eyes or if you would prefer,

You can keep your eyes open and just keep a soft gaze.

Just keep a soft focus on something that's just a few inches or a few feet in front of you.

Feel free to practice this meditation at any time and in any place,

Be it at work or at home or even while you're waiting to pick up your children.

Keep a good posture by lengthening your spine,

Sitting up straight but not rigid.

Keep your clothing loose around the waist so that you can breathe easily.

Keep your chest open,

Holding yourself upright.

And let's begin by taking three deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathe in deeply and exhale.

One more breath fully in.

And as you exhale,

Let out a sigh of relief.

Now become aware of the flow of your breath.

Just your normal,

Natural breathing.

Allow the breath to relax you.

Noticing the rise and fall of your chest.

Feeling calm and comfortable.

Feel your body expanding and contracting with the breath.

Relaxing.

Thoughts may come and grab your attention and that is perfectly fine.

When you notice this,

Simply return to the gentle rhythm of your breath without judgment,

Without worry.

Simply follow the breath without changing it.

Just observe it.

And now take one minute to breathe on your own and focus on happy breath.

Good job,

Mom.

Now repeat after me.

I am an amazing mother and my children are a gift.

Breathe in one last deep breath,

Knowing this truth.

And then exhale and open your eyes,

Feeling refreshed.
