Let's begin by finding your most comfortable position.
You may choose to lie down with your legs extended and your arms resting comfortably at your sides,
Perhaps with your palms facing upward in receiving mode.
You may also choose to sit in a comfortable seated position,
Preferably with your spine gently supported.
So take a moment now to gather any props that will help to support your comfort,
Maybe a pillow to place under your head,
A bolster or a pillow to place under your knees,
Maybe an eye mask or an eye pillow.
And you want to have a blanket to keep yourself warm and cozy throughout our journey as it's common for our body temperature to drop during the practice of yoga nidra.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes if they're not already closed.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely.
And exhale slowly through your mouth with a gentle sigh,
Releasing any tension you may be feeling from your day.
And again,
A nice deep breath in through your nose,
Expanding your belly,
Your ribs,
And your chest.
And then once again,
Exhale completely with another gentle sigh,
Allowing your entire body to soften and to settle into the support beneath you.
One more time,
Deep breath in and exhale with a sigh again,
Ah,
Surrendering to this moment of deep rest.
And now let's connect with your heartfelt intention,
Also called your sankalpa.
This is a short positive statement spoken in the present tense.
It's a statement that reflects your deepest truth or your deepest aspiration.
So for today,
Your sankalpa might be something like,
I am remembering my Pleiadian origins and my soul's purpose.
Or I am activating my divine gifts with grace and ease.
I am a channel for Pleiadian love and healing.
Allow whatever phrase feels true to you and what rises naturally from your heart.
