It is important to be clear and honest with yourself about what you want to let go and to be healed deep within. The following guided meditation is intended for you to use in the energy of the full moon.

And so to prepare for this guided meditation,

I encourage you to think about the things in your life that you'd really like to change.

And it's important here to be clear in your mind and honest about yourself about what you want to let go and to heal deep within you.

You could even make a list of all the things that you're not happy about.

Any kind of habits or repetitive thinking patterns or behaviors.

You could even make a list of the people that you wish to forgive.

You can go as far into the past and look for people,

Relationships,

Events,

Things that you want to let go of.

The best time to practice this meditation is on the evening or the night of a full moon.

You might want to light a candle to get into the mood.

You might want to just reflect on the things that you want to let go of or you may want to have that piece of paper with you.

And so now we're going to begin the full moon guided meditation.

So gently closing your eyes,

Taking a few slow deep breaths in and out.

In and out.

Finding your best natural rhythm of deep breath in and out.

Become aware yet comfortable with the space around you.

Become aware of your whole body.

Feel your body's weight on the surface you are sitting or lying upon.

Feel the position of your hands as they rest in your lap or by your side.

Nice deep breathing being in this moment.

Being in the moment and letting go of all thoughts.

Continue with this rhythmic breathing while relaxing your face and your jaw as you do so.

Let your muscles relax and let go of all the concerns,

Worries and tasks that may have been holding you down.

Focus on being in a present state of mind and placing your trust in the glowing light and powerful,

Powerful energy emanated by the full moon.

As you become aware of each body part,

Scan and look for any specific areas of tension or tightness that you may experience.

Just observe them and continue with your rhythmic deep breathing.

Imagine a powerful white and silvery beam shining down on the top of your head.

Just allow your entire being to become immersed,

To become soaked,

Soaked up by the pure and serene energy of this beautiful,

Calming and loving light.

And now gently,

Kindly and slowly start thinking of what you want to let go of.

Just let those thoughts stay in your mind for a moment.

Or you could imagine them in the form of a color or an object floating in front of you.

And now say this in your mind or out loud if you'd like.

I release you under the light of this sacred and magical full moon.

I no longer need what does not serve or empower me.

And while you say this,

Imagine all of the unwanted,

Undesirable things,

Habits,

People,

Behaviors,

Thinking patterns,

Anything at all on this list,

All the things that you're ready to let go of,

See them disappearing in the full and powerful gleam of the moon.

And now say this in your mind or you can say these statements out loud,

Whatever is right for you.

I release unworthiness.

I release doubt.

I release fear and anger.

I release resentment.

I release judgment.

I release shame and guilt.

I release envy and comparison.

I release relationships that do not serve me.

I release toxic people and situations.

And imagine each of these things,

Each of these things and each of the things that you've decided to let go of,

All of these things being released from your life and getting absorbed by the light of the full moon through its powerful and deeply cleansing potential.

Feel light and relaxed as you let go.

Just allow yourself to bask in this sense of freedom of lightness.

You've done a powerful thing for yourself.

So now it's time to end this meditative process.

Bring your awareness to the top of your head.

Taking some more deep cleansing breaths.

You might want to wiggle your fingers and toes a wee bit.

And then when you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes,

Taking in your surroundings,

Coming back to full awareness.

Or just turning over and gently going to sleep.

Whatever is right for you.

Whatever is right for you.
