This guided meditation takes you through the traditional Hawaiian blessing called Ho'oponopono. This concept uses four components to release heaviness or past emotions and move into acceptance and compassion: I'm sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you, and I love you.

Transcript

Close your eyes and start to settle into your seat.

Starting to deepen the breath and dropping the breath down into the belly.

Feeling it feeling all the way up like a big balloon on your inhales.

And squeezing all the air out on your exhales.

Making room for some new fresh breath to come in.

Continuing to lengthen through the inhales and lengthen through the exhales.

As you just start to tune into anything going on around you.

Any sounds or smells that catch your attention.

Feeling the air.

Just allowing any of these details to take you deeper into relaxation.

Tuning into any lingering thoughts.

Anything that feels unsettled from the day or the week.

Or any worries about what's coming up next in the future.

Taking just a moment here and gathering all those thoughts into a little basket.

And then placing that basket outside in the next room.

Just for the next few minutes.

Bringing your attention back to your breath.

And as you continue lengthening those breaths.

Go ahead and roll your eyes up and in.

Just as if you could look through the crown of your own head.

Feeling a little strain in your muscles or a little fluttering of the eyes.

Fixing the eyes on one particular spot.

Just continuing to breathe in and breathe out.

Sending a big dose of alpha brain waves here.

Signaling that it's just time to slow down and relax.

Once you reach the bottom of your next exhale,

Go ahead and relax the eyes.

Letting go of every single nerve and every muscle in and around the eyes.

And starting to let any other tension just melt away.

Starting from the very top of your scalp.

Relaxing every single muscle.

And feeling that tension just starting to melt down off of your body.

All the way down to the ground.

Smoothing out the forehead.

And relaxing the eyes again.

Unclenching the jaw.

And sinking deeper into your seat.

Just imagining if you had a 30 pound bag of sand right across your shoulders.

Continue to release any little tension holding on.

Simply relaxing every single muscle all the way down your arms.

Relaxing the hands more.

Softening through the belly.

And releasing the hips.

Just continuing this relaxation all the way down the legs.

Through the backs of the knees.

And all the way down to the tips of your toes.

And now finding yourself in the deepest relaxation.

I want you to start to tune in to any part of you that's feeling frustration or friction.

Shame.

Disappointment.

Defeat.

Hopelessness.

Or any other emotion that doesn't feel serving to you anymore.

Without judging.

Just scanning your body now.

And scanning back through your mind.

And allowing your mind to easily take you right into that discomfort.

And with so much compassion.

Leaning into that part of you that feels off.

And telling that part of you,

I'm sorry.

And breathing in so much forgiveness here.

Or anywhere that you felt unworthy or unready.

Or any other form of resistance to the life that you desire.

And all of the qualities and emotions that you're working towards.

Taking your time here.

And asking for forgiveness whenever you're ready.

And feeling the shift as you send so much understanding to this beautiful part of you that's been struggling.

Recognizing the pure intentions that are here.

And flooding your body now with so much compassion and forgiveness.

Letting go of all of the shaming and blaming.

Letting go of any missteps.

And feeling all of the tension and friction just melting away into the ground beneath you.

And feeling lighter now.

As you allow your mind to take you right into the parts of you that need to be seen or heard.

Recognized and acknowledged.

Taking note here of any progress that you've made.

Or any efforts that may have been overlooked or made small.

Anything at all that needs appreciating.

Feeling it so much gratitude now,

Breathing it in,

And feeling the power of all of this appreciation right now.

As you simply say thank you to any part of you that needs to hear it right now.

And finally,

Breathing into this shift and sending so much love all throughout your body and all throughout your mind.

To any part of you that needs this healing right now.

Sending encouragement to all those parts that are struggling.

Sending acceptance and appreciation.

Just feeling it all beaming right now.

Embracing with gratitude and sending even more power into this loving current.

Feeling it magnify and multiply now filling up your entire body like a bright white light.

Expanding beyond your body.

Entering and expanding the aura.

Restoring you to your full power and grace.

Sending this energy out to any part of you,

Past,

Present,

Or future that needs it now.

And starting to tune in to an image now or even just a feeling of anything that needs your attention or action.

Gaining so much clarity now of what's possible for you.

And seeing exactly where you need to focus.

Feeling this vision becoming crystal clear.

Feeling so totally rested and recharged,

So confident and strong.

As you start to bring your focus back to your body.

Filling up with a deep belly breath.

And noticing what feels different in your body or in your mind.

Gently coming all the way back to now.

Remembering every detail of every message that you just received.

As you come all the way back fully awake right now.
