Hi,
Thank you for joining me today.
In this morning meditation I'll be guiding you through a series of exercises that will help you cultivate a feeling of gratitude which you can bring with you throughout the whole day.
Now let's begin by finding a relaxed and comfortable posture ideally in a seated position that shows your body that you're alert and ready to start the day.
Now you're going to take three deep breaths inhaling in through the nose and exhaling out through the mouth and make them long,
Soft and even.
Now bring your awareness to your breath just observe it.
Observe how it feels,
The rhythm of it and the flow that your breath has.
Notice how with every inhale your belly expands and how with every exhale it contracts.
Usually in the mornings our minds are stressed because we have a whole day ahead.
We have things to remember,
Things to do,
People to meet and that causes us to have a cloudy mind.
So now you're going to take the power of your breath and visualize how with every inhale your body recharges itself with vitality and how with every exhale you release any stress,
Any negative thoughts that you don't need for today.
So inhale vitality and energy and you exhale anything that doesn't serve you.
If it helps you can visualize this energy and vitality coming from the sky,
From the universe,
All the way through the crown of your head covering your whole body with this beautiful line,
This beautiful energy and vitality and how with every exhale you're giving back to the earth what doesn't serve you.
Now bring a smile to your face and try and feel gratitude,
Gratitude to be alive,
To be on this earth,
For taking time for yourself and doing this meditation,
Gratitude with your body,
With every single cell of your body because it's keeping you alive and healthy.
Now think about three things that you're grateful for.
You can say them out loud or mentally.
Simply cultivate that feeling of gratitude.
Now repeat after me.
I am worthy,
I am healthy and today is going to be a great day.
I am worthy,
I am healthy and today is going to be a great day.
Now continue with this mantras.
You can say them out loud or mentally but just focus all your attention on the intention of these three mantras.
You only have one minute left of this meditation so take this minute to yourself to thank yourself for making time for this meditation.
This minute is a gift from yourself to yourself to allow you to be fully present.
Now when you're ready bring your attention back to the room.
Gently wiggle your toes,
Move your fingers and open your eyes to conclude this practice.
Thank you and I hope you have an amazing day.
