In this meditation, we will use breath practice to quiet the mind and still the body and infuse the healing powers of positive affirmations for the chakra energy systems that will open our hearts to deeper fulfillment and ultimate abundance in all aspects of our lives.

Meditation on Abundance Meditation on Abundance This meditation is an offering to fill your life with joy and abundance.

You don't have to be controlled by worrisome or fearful thoughts of the future,

Nor thoughts of regrets and shame from the past.

You are in control of the abundance you allow into your life.

In this meditation,

We will use breath practice to quiet the mind,

Instill the body,

And infuse the healing powers of positive affirmations for the chakra energy systems that will open our hearts to deeper fulfillment and ultimate abundance in all aspects of our lives.

Make yourself comfortable in a chair,

Bed,

Or on the floor.

Once you are comfortable,

Begin to fill yourself with breath,

And then gently let it go out through the mouth.

See if you can give yourself more time,

Allowing for a few more seconds to slow your inhalation and exhalation,

Making the most of each breath.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Now with each inhalation,

Allow your body to fill the surroundings around you,

Drawing breath up through the crown of your head,

Breathing into the widest parts of your shoulders.

Allow your chest and belly to expand into the spaces around you.

And with exhalation,

Feel the breath drawing out and down the body,

Connecting you more deeply with the earth.

Feel the parts of your body that are touching the floor and the surfaces beneath you.

Feel yourself supported and held.

Begin to relax your muscles,

Soften your bones,

And melt with each out breath.

Take a couple more breaths like this.

Inhaling through the nose,

Seal the lips,

Exhaling through the nose.

Expansive inhale,

Absorbing the surroundings.

Exhaling completely,

Grounding.

Allow your breath and body to fill the space inside and around you.

Let the space that you are creating help you to continue to expand.

If at any point you notice yourself thinking about tomorrow or yesterday,

Just come back here,

If only for a moment.

Back to your breath.

Notice the length of your in breath and your out breath.

Take a long,

Slow sip of breath in for a count of four,

And out for a count of six.

Inhaling for four,

Out for six.

Continue that,

Exhaling slightly longer,

Emptying completely.

Do this for several more breaths,

Allowing the exhale to last,

Emptying of any stale stock or negative energy.

Now bringing your attention to your feet.

Inhale as if breathing up in the sole of your left foot,

Up the left side of your body,

Through your left nostril,

Settling your awareness at the center of your forehead.

And on an exhale,

Imagine breathing out through the right nostril,

Glide your awareness down your right side to the sole of your right foot.

On your next inhale,

Visualize breathing in through your right nostril,

Up the whole length of the right side of your body,

Increasing positive energy to every cell in your right hemisphere and settling at the center of your forehead.

Exhale down the left nostril and the left side of your body to your left foot,

Letting go.

Repeat again,

Inhaling up the left side through the left nostril,

Envisioning a green ribbon of light,

Bright and electric coursing up the left hemisphere to your forehead,

And exhaling down the right nostril,

The right hemisphere,

A ribbon of green light,

Inhaling up the right side,

Bright green light,

The color of the heart chakra,

A color that represents abundance,

And exhaling down the left side of the body.

Continue this pattern of alternate nostril breathing,

Envisioning with each breath the movement of the breath through the left side to the right and back again.

Every cell and atom and molecule that make up your body is flowing like liquid velvet throughout your entire body,

Filling you with abundance.

Filling you with joy.

Wherever you are now in your breath pattern and visualization,

Begin to let go of controlled breath,

Letting go of the imagery,

Observing yourself and how the body feels,

Now more centered,

More relaxed,

More mindful.

I invite you to now stabilize your breath,

Letting it become normal,

Its natural easy pace without effort,

Unconscious.

Feel your natural breath flow like liquid in and out of your nose,

Like a wave up and down through your body,

Filling your belly,

Your ribs,

Your chest.

Let each breath move through you,

Allowing your body and breath to move with this experience,

With any emotions that arise.

Let them all move through,

Savoring every second,

Right here,

Right now,

In the present.

Let each breath fill you like golden honey from a cup,

Like warm sunshine on your skin.

Take all the time you need here,

Letting yourself overflow,

Always redirecting your mind back to the breath again and again as thoughts appear.

This is the nature of the mind.

Do not be defeated by your thoughts.

You are in control.

Begin to center your mind at the base of your spine,

Near the tailbone,

And imagine an orb of red light,

Every breath making the red light pulse and grow brighter and brighter.

Repeat the affirmation to yourself,

All I need to live my best life is within me now.

Move your awareness to the center of your pelvis.

Envision an orange glowing ball of light at the very center of your pelvis.

Pulsing with each breath,

Repeat the affirmation,

I am growing stronger in my talents daily and I'm ready to share my gifts.

I am growing stronger in my talents daily and I'm ready to share my gifts.

Moving upward to the navel center,

Seeing a yellow glowing ember of light expanding and contracting with each breath.

The affirmation,

I believe in my abilities and I am worthy of greatness.

I believe in my abilities and I am worthy of greatness.

Drift your attention further up the spine towards your heart center and imagine a glowing sphere of green light.

Repeat the affirmation,

I love who I am and see all challenges as opportunities to grow.

I love who I am and I see all challenges as opportunities to grow.

Drawing your awareness up higher up to your throat,

Visualize a blue ball of energy and repeat the affirmation,

I speak confidently and surround myself with those who empower and uplift me.

I speak confidently and surround myself with those who empower and uplift me.

Moving your awareness to the center of your forehead,

Picture a sphere of deep purple circulating with each breath.

Repeat the affirmation,

My intuition guides me through all fear and challenges I experience.

Now to the top of the head,

A bright white light expands in all directions and surrounds the body like a protective shield.

Sense the comfort and warmth of this protecting light.

Ending with a positive affirmation,

With wisdom and openness to receive,

The universe provides all that I need.

Sensing into your whole body,

Rested,

Relaxed.

The heart open to receive all abundance and goodness that life has to offer.

With positivity,

Love and light,

You have released fear and doubt and are prepared to grow and share your gifts with the world.

You are abundant in every way.

Once again becoming aware of your breath,

Aware of your surroundings,

The sounds that you hear,

The felt sensation of your body,

The taste in your mouth,

The aroma in the room.

Slowly bring your hands together in front of your heart,

Rubbing the palms together,

Warming your hands.

Then place your loving hands over your heart.

Slowly blink open your eyes to the gift of the present and the gift of this meditation and the time you have honored for yourself.

At your own pace,

Slowly begin to move the parts of your body that feel ready.

Perhaps wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

Your head and shoulders.

Slowly sit up.

Notice if your body or your breath feel different than they did before.

Allow yourself to continue in the present moment,

Full and at ease,

Abundant and joyful.
