This is vacation of the mind here with Zen That Beat,

Bringing to you a workplace visualization meditation.

I invite you to sit comfortably in your chair,

Feet flat against the floor,

Sitting upright so that you can breathe with ease,

Hands resting on the tops of your thighs,

Inviting you to close your eyes and rest your tongue behind your bottom teeth as you begin to bring all of your attention and awareness to your breath.

Inhaling through the nose,

Exhaling through the nose,

Focusing all of your attention and awareness to your breath as you begin to give your body and your mind permission to relax,

Permission to calm,

Focusing all of your awareness to your inhale and your exhale as you breathe deeply into your lungs.

With each inhale you take,

You feel the air as it glides through your nose,

Down your throat,

Into your chest,

Into your lung.

As your lungs fully expand,

Filling with fresh oxygen that revives your blood and your body.

With each inhale your abdomen rises and with each exhale your abdomen falls as you fully release all of the air.

On your next inhale imagine you have a green balloon sitting inside of your abdomen.

As you inhale the balloon expands and as you exhale the balloon contracts,

Fully releasing all of the air.

Focusing all of your attention and awareness to the green balloon inside of your abdomen.

As you inhale the balloon expands and as you exhale the balloon contracts,

Fully releasing all of the air.

Beginning to create a rhythm and a flow with your inhale and the expansion of the balloon and your exhale and the contraction of the balloon.

As you bring this internally for a few moments,

Creating a rhythm and a flow of your own,

For this is your journey.

The time that you have made for yourself.

Inhaling through the nose as the balloon expands,

Exhaling through your nose as the balloon contracts.

That's beautiful.

On your next exhale,

Releasing the balloon and bringing your attention and awareness back to your breath.

As you deeply inhale filling your lungs with fresh oxygen and as you exhale fully releasing and letting go.

Releasing your stress,

Releasing your tension,

Releasing your thoughts,

Giving your body full permission to relax into this moment,

To just be.

As your thoughts continue to linger in your mind,

Now is the time to allow them to come to the forefront of your mind,

The space between your eyebrows.

Becoming the observer of your thoughts as you take a step back and watch them float by one by one.

Not judging your thoughts,

Not wondering why they're there.

No emotional attachments to your thoughts.

Just allowing them to be what they are.

Just thoughts.

They are neither good nor bad.

They are just thoughts.

As you observe your thoughts,

No attachment,

No judgment,

You begin to make a little pile of your thoughts there in your mind's eye.

One by one,

Allowing them to pile on top of each other.

Seeing yourself standing and looking at this pile of your thoughts with a soft smile on your face.

You now see yourself holding on to the handle of a broom as you begin to sweep your thoughts from the right to the left,

Right to left,

Right to left.

Until all of your thoughts are gone from your mind's eye,

You are left with a clear mind.

Bringing all of your attention and awareness to the darkness behind your closed eyelids.

Focusing all of your attention and awareness to the darkness behind your closed eyelids.

Should a thought come in,

You can thank it for being there and then let it go.

Bringing all of your attention and awareness to the darkness behind your closed eyelids.

There's a stillness here.

A stillness that you can connect to anytime you want.

A stillness that is yours.

A stillness that you carry deep inside.

And no matter what is going on in your external environment,

You can always close your eyes and bring your awareness to the darkness behind your closed eyelids.

Connecting within to find the stillness that you carry deep inside.

I invite you to connect with that stillness now.

Enjoying a few moments of inner peace.

That's beautiful.

It feels so good to connect within.

To connect with that stillness deep inside.

There is a goal that your team is working toward.

Bring that goal to the forefront of your mind,

The space between your eyebrows.

Maybe you see it in the form of a word or an image.

Holding on to that goal for a moment,

Sending your energy to the goal.

You see your team and yourself coming together to accomplish this goal.

As you now take notice to the action steps that need to be done,

To accomplish this goal,

What role do you play in accomplishing the goal?

What tasks need to be completed?

How does your team work together to accomplish the goal and what tasks do they need to complete?

Seeing all of you working cohesively,

Coming up with ideas,

Problem solving.

All in tune,

Aligned,

And working toward the same outcome together.

And now see that that goal has been accomplished.

How do you feel?

Congratulations,

You did it.

See your team celebrating the excitement that fills the room.

Your manager is happy.

Leadership is happy.

You are all high-fiving each other,

Congratulating each other.

Take that feeling and allow it to flow through your body,

Continuing to stay in a relaxed state,

But proud,

Happy,

Feeling fulfilled.

You did it alongside of your team and you all deserve a congratulations.

Seeing yourself with a smile on your face.

Relish in that feeling for a moment.

Allow it to overtake your body.

Great job.

Feeling more relaxed and at peace,

Accomplished.

As you inhale through your nose and exhale through your nose.

When you are ready,

You can begin to bring your attention and awareness back into the room,

Back into the chair that you're sitting in,

Back into your body as you wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes,

Bringing movement back into your body,

Maybe stretching or doing whatever feels right for you.

And with a soft smile upon your lips,

Feeling fulfilled,

Feeling relaxed and at peace,

Knowing you can find your stillness anytime you want.

When you are ready,

You can open your eyes.

Thank you for taking a vacation of the mind.
