This is vacation of the mind here within that beat,

Bringing to you a letting go meditation.

I invite you to sit or lie in a comfortable position.

Close your eyes.

Rest your tongue behind your bottom teeth.

Begin to bring all of your attention and awareness to your breath.

As you inhale through your nose and exhale through your nose.

Focusing all of your attention and awareness to your breath.

Allowing the oxygen to fully fill your lungs with each inhale that you take.

And to fully release and let go with each exhale.

Feeling your abdomen rise as you inhale and fall as you exhale.

Bringing all of your attention and awareness to your breath.

Not judging your breath.

Not forcing your breath.

Just allowing it to be,

Allowing it to flow with each inhale and exhale.

That's beautiful.

Giving your body full permission to relax.

There's something on your mind.

A thought that keeps reappearing or a thought that just won't go away.

I invite you now to bring that thought to the forefront of your mind,

The space between your eyebrows.

Seeing yourself looking down at that thought with no judgments.

No wondering why that thought is there.

Just allowing it to be what it is.

Just a thought.

And now see yourself holding onto the string of a green balloon.

The string is tightly grasped between your pointer finger and your thumb.

And the balloon is floating just above your head.

Bringing that thought to the left outside of the balloon.

Holding the image of the thought and the balloon floating just above your head.

And now take that thought and put it inside of the green balloon.

As you see yourself holding onto the string of the green balloon with the balloon floating just above your head and the thought inside.

And as you inhale through your nose and exhale you release the string of the green balloon.

Seeing both the balloon and the thought float high into the sky.

Higher.

Higher.

Higher.

Until both the thought and the green balloon are far beyond the clouds.

Focusing all of your attention and awareness to that darkness behind your closed eyelids.

Focusing all of your attention to the darkness behind your closed eyelids.

There's a stillness here that you can connect to anytime you want.

And as you inhale through your nose and exhale through your nose with a calm mind.

When you are ready you can begin to bring your attention back to the room that you're sitting or lying in.

You can wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.

With a soft smile on your face when you are ready you can open your eyes.

Thank you for taking a vacation of the mind.
