Hello,

I'm Vivienne and today I'd like to talk to you about opening up to true purpose.

This audio may feel like a meditation as it speaks to the you that's beyond the ideas,

The expectations and the illusions that you carry about yourself and your reason for being on this earth.

It's a journey through space and time to here and now.

So take a moment to settle into position,

Find a place where you can safely and comfortably close your eyes,

Be quiet and just listen because we're going on a journey into your imagination.

As you settle in you might notice the comforting weight of your body,

The sensation of every touch point where you're held,

Supported.

That's a metaphor for life.

Notice your breath and how it flows through your whole being,

Reviving and revitalizing and notice how you're not doing that,

That's not you,

Breathing is taken care of.

Now as you inhabit this moment in time let me take you on a little journey of discovery,

Safe and secure as we travel together.

As we take our first steps I'd like you to imagine that every idea you have about your purpose,

Your reason for being can be bundled up and put into a suitcase.

Whether it's fully formed or not you don't have to know what each one is,

Just know that they're there.

As you pack each one you might have a sense of what they are or they might just come to you as colors or sounds or textures.

Notice how they feel,

Are they heavy or light,

Rough or smooth,

Warm or cool.

As you pack them away rest assured you can always pick them up again on the way back if you want to.

So now they're all packed away and the suitcase is closed and locked for now,

Let's leave it behind and go exploring.

As you step away from the suitcase you might notice that you feel lighter,

Like there's nothing you need to do or be right now.

There are no expectations here,

You've left them in the suitcase too and maybe you didn't realize they were tied up in your ideas of purpose.

As you move further away from the case if any ideas of should be or should do come up just thank them and direct them back to the suitcase where they can stay for now.

And now notice what remains when you have put aside those ideas of who or what you should be to merit your place in this world.

That's the essential you,

Nothing missing,

Nothing lacking.

Before ideas and expectations,

Before thoughts of yes but or what if,

There's nothing to fill or achieve or deserve,

You're already complete,

Already all of it.

There's nowhere to get to,

You're already there.

You might start to notice the places where that feels true in your body,

In your life.

Notice how that feels,

That completeness sensation.

And as you relax into this experience I want you to know,

To feel in your bones that there's nothing you need to do or be or achieve to be worthy of your place here.

You were born worthy,

That was never in question and nothing has changed that in the years that have followed,

No matter how your perceptions,

Judgments and expectations have shifted.

Over time or what society tells you,

Your purpose was fulfilled the moment you came into being.

You are life expressing itself in every moment.

You are nature,

Everything you do aligns with your purpose to be an expression of life,

The infinite energy of source.

How could it not?

It's all life being lived.

It's a misunderstanding to think that there is something we could do or be or have that would make us bigger,

More deserving than the expression of the energy of life.

We are life,

That's enough,

That's everything.

You are your purpose,

Anything else is made up,

A mere shadow of the truth of you.

So now you might like to take a moment to reflect.

What new perspectives might this bring?

From this space of completeness,

What's possible?

If what's my purpose is no longer a relevant question,

What might the new question be?

Perhaps it's something like,

What would you love to do,

To create or to become?

Not because you need to prove your worth,

Remember that's not in question,

But because it brings you joy,

It lights you up.

It comes from a place of love and boundless creativity,

Not a place of needing to fill some imaginary void.

Without expectations or ideas of worth,

That question carries a different,

Lighter energy.

So you might like to sit with this question for a moment in the safe silence here.

Knowing that you're already fulfilling your purpose in every moment,

What would you love to do,

To create,

To become?

And now with all of that in mind and heart,

Let's take a stroll back towards the suitcase.

Is there anything in there that feels aligned,

Without the weight of expectation or worth?

If so,

Feel free to bring it out and hold it up to the light.

If it still feels like something you'd love to do,

Create or become,

Just for the joy of it,

And knowing that it means nothing about your value,

Your worth or your purpose,

Then by all means,

Take it with you into the next moment.

The rest can stay in the suitcase.

Like all ideas,

They will dissolve when they're no longer needed.

And remember,

No idea has to be forever.

You can choose now,

And you can choose again later.

That's the beauty of this life.

You can let go of old ideas of purpose,

And who or what you're meant to be,

And just go and live it.

Very powerful. I put a lot of energy into defining my purpose in life. It turns out that my purpose is to share joy and kindness. Knowing that I am enough gives me the space to do that with nothing to prove. Thank you. ♥️

Wow, I feel like a weight has been lifted! I no longer need to worry about 'finding' my purpose. Just living and being me is my purpose. I'll relisten when I forget that. Thank you.
