Hello,
My name is Vivian Wolfe and this is a guided meditation with affirmations for confidence.
For this meditation,
Please allow yourself about 10 minutes and find a comfortable position seated upright or laying down.
Any place where you feel stable and can be in comfortable stillness for this meditation.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes or just soften your gaze.
Take a full deep breath in.
Exhale through your mouth.
Let's do that again.
Deep breath in.
Deep breath out.
Keep breathing like this if it feels nice and begin to take your awareness down.
Down into the sensations of your body.
Notice sensations on the surface of your body like the connection between your body and the support below you.
Sensation of air or clothing on skin.
Gently bring your awareness to the sounds happening around you.
Sounds inside this room.
Sounds outside the room.
Welcoming in smell and taste.
Noticing if there are any colors or patterns appearing behind your eyelids.
Take another deep breath in and allow your awareness to travel into your toes.
Observing any sensations in the toes.
Allowing them to relax as you observe them.
Letting that awareness travel into the feet and the ankles,
The lower legs,
The knees,
The upper legs,
The glutes and hips.
Just notice both legs relaxing,
Letting go.
Bring your awareness to your fingers.
Simply observing any sensation that might be occurring right now in the fingers.
Allowing them to relax as you notice them.
Let your awareness move into your hands,
Wrists,
Lower arms,
Elbows,
Upper arms,
Shoulders and shoulder blades.
Just notice both arms relaxing,
Letting go.
Just gently take your awareness now into your sacrum and pelvis.
Releasing any tension you may be observing.
Then into your lower back and abdomen,
Your upper back and chest,
The back of the neck and the throat,
The back of the skull,
The jaw,
The cheeks,
Eyes,
Forehead,
Top of the head.
Just notice the front and back of the body relaxing,
Letting go.
Observing how as the body becomes more relaxed,
The breath becomes slow and gentle.
Become aware of the place where you feel your breath.
Just observing your inhale and your exhale.
Seeing if you can let go of the effort and allow the body to breathe itself.
You are just observing air going in,
Air going out.
As you relax deeper,
Notice how when the breath becomes soft and gentle,
The mind becomes a little more quiet,
Relaxed,
Easy.
In this quiet place,
Allow yourself to feel that inner sense of awareness and trust for yourself.
Just an easy sense of trust.
You are capable of so much.
You are a confident and courageous person.
Quietly,
Silently to yourself or out loud if you feel comfortable,
Repeat the following affirmations.
Feel them and know them as you say them to yourself.
I believe in myself and my skills.
I grow with every challenge.
I love the person I am becoming.
I believe in myself and my skills.
I grow with every challenge.
I love the person I am becoming.
I believe in myself and my skills.
I grow with every challenge.
I love the person I am becoming.
For the next few moments,
Allow these words of affirmations to echo within you,
Sinking in and integrating with your very being.
I'll guide you back in just a moment or two.
As you begin to come back,
Take a nice long nourishing breath in and release your exhale through the mouth.
Inhale fresh new cleansing air and energy.
Releasing old stories and energies that no longer serve you.
And when you feel ready,
Start to welcome in a little soft movement in the body.
Gently wiggle the feet or tap the toes.
Wiggle your fingers,
Roll your shoulders,
Whatever feels nice right now.
Gently making your way to an upright position if you're not there already.
And when you're ready,
Take a nice deep breath in,
Bring the arms up overhead,
Take up some space and as you exhale,
Bring your hands together over the heart.
In here,
Let's take one last deep breath in together.
Simply let it go.
I am so grateful you have taken this time for yourself today and that you shared this practice with me.
I'm so excited to see how your confidence and self-trust serves you in this day and the days to come.
From my heart to yours,
Peace.
