Transcript

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down and start to take some nice slow deep breaths,

Relaxing your body.

Really let go of your body on each out breath,

Let it relax a little bit more and more.

Feel your breath at the tip of your nose as you breathe in and out.

And allow your body to relax.

And now just scan your body briefly to make sure it's relaxed,

Focusing on your feet,

Moving your way up the body,

Through the torso,

The arms,

The hands and your neck.

Allowing yourself to completely relax.

And I'd like you to imagine yourself in a beautiful quiet spot near a lagoon.

You've decided to go and visit the lagoon,

Go for a swim.

You don't have any shoes on,

It's a beautiful day.

The sky is a gorgeous blue color and the sun's out.

The air is so fresh and you can take deep breaths in,

Feeling very happy and relaxed to be in this beautiful quiet spot.

Notice how the ground under your feet feels.

Create it in any way that you wish.

Notice the trees around you,

The colors of the leaves.

Perhaps you can hear the birds in the trees.

And there's a trail that you're going to walk on towards the lagoon.

And in the distance you can hear a waterfall.

And so you head on towards that waterfall and that lagoon.

Just notice the plants and trees that you pass by and some flowers.

See the colors as clearly as you can.

Feel the air and the freshness as you make your way towards the lagoon with that beautiful waterfall.

The waterfall is sounding closer and closer,

Louder and louder.

Until you arrive at an opening and you can see the beautiful lagoon and the cliff where the waterfall falls over.

And you feel completely at peace and happy here.

It's a beautiful day and the lagoon is so clear and fresh.

And you see yourself diving easily into the water,

Enjoying the feel of the rush of the water over your body as you swim.

And you swim strongly and easily.

And the water is perfect temperature.

You feel a sense of freedom and ease as you're swimming.

And then see yourself looking around.

The different trees that are surrounding the lagoon.

The rocks and the cliffs.

The sounds.

And then you make your way over to a part of the waterfall where you can actually stand under and let the water just fall over you.

Refreshing you.

Massaging your body.

And you see yourself smiling as you stand there and let the water flow down over your whole body.

It starts to wash away any worries or fears or anxieties that you may have.

Just standing under it you can feel the water washing away.

Any negativity from you.

Spend a little bit of time here allowing the water to clear you,

To allow you to feel lighter.

Refreshed.

And notice how you're feeling as you're standing there under that waterfall.

Let yourself feel lighter.

Letting any worries just wash away.

Letting any worries just wash away.

And when you're ready,

See yourself diving back into the water.

Swimming strongly again.

Playing in the water.

Enjoying yourself.

Laughing.

Swimming under the waterfall.

Really,

Really enjoying yourself.

And notice how easy it is to feel happy and free.

Swimming,

Feeling the water.

And you're feeling happy now because you know that you're going to be with a couple of very good friends shortly.

They're coming to meet you.

Some of your oldest friends.

And you always laugh together.

Enjoy each other's company.

And you're really looking forward to seeing them.

So you start swimming to the edge of the lagoon.

Feeling refreshed.

Not weighted down by worries or thoughts.

Lighter,

Happier,

And enthusiastic to see your friends and to spend some time with them.

So you walk back down the trail.

And you still notice the beautiful trees and plants around you.

And you feel the trail under your feet.

And you head back to a beautiful cottage where you're going to meet your friends and spend some time and enjoy yourself.

You finally see the cottage in front of you.

And you notice how it's built,

What it's made from.

And it has five steps going up to a veranda surrounding the cottage.

And you feel the steps under your feet as you walk up onto the veranda.

And on the veranda is a table with some very comfortable chairs and a hammock.

You decide to lie in the hammock for a little while,

Relaxing,

Enjoying yourself.

Feeling the easy sway of the hammock.

Feeling healthy.

Invigorated from the swim.

And just waiting for your good friends to arrive.

Here's how you feel.

Now you can start hearing them as they come walking towards you.

And you all have big smiles on your face,

Happy to see each other.

And notice how that feels when you're in the company of really good friends,

Laughing,

Teasing each other.

And you all sit down around the table that has refreshments and talk about things that only best friends talk about,

Laugh about.

You notice how you feel inside,

How happy that feels,

How relaxed you feel with your best friends.

Notice how healthy you feel in this environment,

In this beautiful place,

With good friends around you.

The energy that comes into your body,

A sense of well-being.

Breathe that feeling through your body.

Feel the feeling.

And recognize it inside yourself.

And see if you can feel that same feeling in your body now,

In your room,

Where you're meditating.

Feel that energy,

That happiness,

A sense of well-being.

And take some deep breaths and breathe in that beautiful energy.

Feel it flowing through your body here and now,

Refreshing you,

Revitalizing you.

And still relaxed at the same time.

See if you can hold that energy inside you for the rest of your day.

Become more and more aware of yourself in your room,

Still holding that energy,

Taking a few more deep breaths.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes with a smile on your face.
