I invite you to experience the calming benefits of tea meditation through my humble and intuitive guidance. Tea is a beautiful doorway into mindfulness. If you are open, it can transport you into the quietness of your heart, where you can hear the whispers of your soul. When practiced regularly, Tea can be a gentle anchor allowing you to cultivate a consistent daily mindfulness ritual. Prepare your tea with loving attention, grab a cup, and come sit with me.

Welcome dear one.

My name is Vienna and I'll be guiding you through a sweet and simple tea meditation practice.

Make sure you have with you your tea warm and ready either into a teapot or into a cup.

Tea is a simple,

Easy and nourishing way to cultivate mindfulness in our day.

It creates space for us to listen,

To feel and to replenish our bodies,

Our souls.

I invite you to sit comfortably with your spine tall.

Before we begin drinking,

Let's first tune inwards.

I invite you to close your eyes,

Relaxing the mind here.

Giving yourself the permission to take this time for yourself.

Allow the breath to carry you into the present.

Breathe deeply through your nose and exhale fully through your mouth.

Again inhaling deeply through the nose.

Exhale all the tension through the mouth.

One last time.

Release.

Beautiful.

Relax the back of your eyes and soften your gaze.

Relax the back of your throat.

Soften your jaw.

Preparing yourself to receive your tea with tenderness.

Allow your heart to settle.

I invite you to hold your cup at your heart and set an intention for this practice.

Inhale your intention into your body through your breath and hold the breath here to allow the intention to imprint into each and every cell of your being.

And exhale,

Blow your intention into your cup through your breath.

Let's do this again.

Inhale your intention in.

Hold the breath.

Allow the intention to be absorbed and imprinted into each and every cell of your being.

Exhale,

Blow your intention into your cup.

Beautiful.

Now bringing your cup close to your face.

Attune to your senses.

Notice the smell,

The warmth.

Gently opening your eyes and looking and seeing the color of your tea.

Allow the tea to awaken your senses through its simple presence.

Before you start drinking,

I invite you to cultivate gratitude for the sacred waters.

Cultivate gratitude for each leaf or flower within your tea.

Cultivating gratitude for the lands from which this tea is from and for everyone involved in bringing this tea to you today.

And with a gentle bow from your mind and from your heart,

I invite you to start sipping your tea.

Allow the liquid to move through in your mouth.

Notice its texture.

Notice the taste,

What it's awakening in you.

Allow the warmth to soften your internal landscape.

Sipping your tea with this deep sensation of appreciation and gratitude.

Allowing each sip to anchor you more deeply into your core,

Into your center.

Notice the tea passing down through your throat,

Your esophagus.

Even maybe feeling it landing into your stomach where it's absorbed.

Just notice the moment where you and the tea become one.

Where you can no longer feel the tea as a separate entity,

Where it becomes part of you.

Where it runs through your bloodstream and dances and moves in your body to reach your brain and your consciousness.

How is the tea moving in you?

Is it grounding you?

Is it uplifting you?

Allow the tea to move through you.

To settle into the places that need extra tenderness.

The places in your being that need this warmth.

Tend and nurture to your being through each sip.

You may wish to continue sipping your tea consciously.

Whenever you're finished,

Simply hold the cup back at your heart and return to your initial intention.

Feel and sense that your entire being has been deeply,

Deeply nourished by this intention.

May you continue to explore the beautiful,

Simple and profound practice of tea meditation.

Tea is a very gentle teacher,

Inviting us to cultivate patience and appreciation for inner tranquility.

All my sweet blessings to you dear friend.
