This evening ritual first guides you to check-in with how you're feeling. It then offers you space to reflect on your day. After connecting with gratitude you're invited to completely relax and let go as you prepare for a restorative sleep. The music is relaxing piano with hints of forest birds. I wish you a meaningful and relaxing night in your wonderful life.

As you come to the end of your day,

Let's first take stock of how you're feeling,

Noticing what's alive in you at this moment.

First let's check with how your body is feeling right now,

Noticing if you have tension anywhere specific,

Or perhaps you don't have any tension and your body is feeling light and grounded.

Taking a moment now to scan your body and simply sense how it's feeling.

Now let's take stock of your mind,

Noticing it.

Are there many thoughts or does your mind feel quite centered?

Taking a few moments here to witness your mind,

Not engaging with it,

Just witnessing it.

And now checking in with your whole self,

How are you feeling in this moment as you come to the end of your day?

Taking some breaths in and out.

And if you did notice any tension or busy mental activity,

On your next few exhales,

Releasing that tension,

That busyness.

And feeling your body and your mind centered and grounded.

From this centeredness,

Let's now reflect on your day that you just had.

What felt aligned for you today?

Perhaps something that happened or a way you navigated a situation.

What felt aligned for you today?

And now reflecting on anything that didn't feel aligned today.

Not making it wrong,

Simply acknowledging it,

Giving your conscious awareness space to live and create in a way that feels right for you.

Taking a moment now to reflect on anything that didn't feel aligned today.

And from that reflection,

Is there anything you want to change tomorrow?

An invitation to experience life differently tomorrow?

Is there any intention you consciously want to bring into your day tomorrow?

And now after that reflecting,

Giving thanks for simply being alive.

This gift of life that you have,

The wonder of being you.

Giving thanks for our sweet earth,

The rivers,

The mountains,

The oceans,

Our home.

Breathing that in.

And if any other gratitudes come into your awareness now,

Letting them come in,

Filling you up from inside,

Feeling how wonderful this existence is.

And now letting it all go.

Letting go of the day.

Letting go of all thinking and reflecting.

Feeling your whole body begin to relax even more.

Inhaling and exhaling,

Feeling a state of peace here.

If your mind continues to be active,

Just noticing the thoughts,

And gently saying to your mind,

Not right now,

Not right now.

And continuing to feel yourself relax.

You don't need to hold on to anything.

You can let it all go.

Feeling your jaw soften.

Feeling your shoulders soften.

Feeling your hips and your lower back soften.

Feeling your feet soften.

Feeling your whole body melt into the safety of full relaxation.

Feeling your breath come in.

I will close here by giving thanks that you exist,

And wishing you a beautiful night of rest and wholeness,

To wake to another gift of a day of being you in this world.

Good night.
