Welcome to this meditation to help you build lots of self-love.

First find a really comfortable position lying down.

Settle in,

Make sure you feel comfortable and then start to make your body feel relaxed and heavy.

You can take any last wiggles or movements and then see if you can lie still.

And as you lie still notice that your body is still moving with your breath.

Your belly or your chest rising and falling as you breathe.

Focus on your breath and then start to focus on your legs.

See if you can make your legs feel heavy and relaxed and soft.

And then think about all of the wonderful things your legs and your feet allow you to do.

Running and jumping,

Kicking a ball.

What are your favorite things that you can do with your legs?

And now say to yourself in your mind,

Call quietly to yourself,

I love my legs.

I love my legs.

Now think about your arms and your hands.

Can you make your arms and your hands feel heavy,

Relaxed and soft?

Think of all the wonderful things that your arms and your hands let you do.

Hugging the people you love,

Reaching to get things that you need,

Writing and drawing.

Now say to yourself in your mind or quietly to yourself,

I love my arms.

I love my arms.

And now think about your head and your face.

Can you make your face relaxed and soft?

Your eyes might feel heavy.

Your cheeks might feel soft.

Think about your face,

The way that you look,

All of the things you can do with your face.

Talking,

Singing,

Smiling and laughing.

Seeing with your eyes and hearing with your ears.

And the way that you look that is unique and special to you.

And you say to yourself in your mind or very quietly,

I love my face.

I love my face.

And now think about your whole body,

How heavy and comfortable and relaxed it feels here on the floor.

See if you can feel lots of love for your whole self,

Your body,

The way you look on the outside and the way you are on the inside.

Then you can start to slowly make some movements with your fingers and toes and start to wake up by taking a big stretch.

Then we'll sit back up.

You might like to finish putting your hands over the space of your heart and feeling that love for yourself one last time.

Great way to help kids think about all the different parts they can love about themselves. I wish it included more parts!
