I choose to take deep cleansing breaths and relax my body and my mind.

I choose to align my will with the will of Jesus.

I choose to believe that Jesus died and was resurrected to send the Holy Spirit,

Which is now my Helper.

I choose to call upon my Helper,

The Holy Spirit,

Which dwells within me.

I choose to believe God's Word when He says I am meant to do even greater things than Jesus when I call upon His name.

I choose to focus on the rhythm of my breath when I am distracted or overwhelmed by my thoughts or emotions.

I choose to call upon the name of the Lord when I am tempted.

I choose to believe I am enough in Jesus.

I choose to be free from the memories and the emotions of my negative life experiences.

I choose to know Jesus' love is unending.

I choose to live in faith rather than fear.

I choose to know Jesus' love is real.

I choose to know that Jesus' love is alive.

I choose to remember that Jesus provides me unlimited access to God's strength and authority.

I choose to believe that God will never abandon me.

I choose to visualize Jesus walking by my side.

I choose to allow myself to crawl up into God's lap and allow Him to comfort me when I am scared or overwhelmed.

I choose to remember Jesus promised not to abandon His disciples.

I choose to see myself as Jesus' disciple.

I choose to remember Jesus promised not to abandon His disciples.

I choose to acknowledge and honor my emotions just as Jesus did.

I choose to love the unlovable like Jesus did.

I don't have to like them.

I choose to love the sinner and not the sin.

I choose to free myself from the bondage of self-absorption by being of service to God and others.

I choose to take deep cleansing breaths and relax my body and mind.

I choose to remember the victory is in the resurrection and not in the crucifixion.

I choose to remember God will use my struggles so that He may be glorified,

Just as the crucifixion was used for His resurrection.

I choose to ask myself,

How am I serving God today,

Especially when I am discouraged?

I choose to ask others to pray with me.

I choose to respond in faith by honoring God's plan,

By placing my obstacles in Jesus' hands.

I choose to allow myself to see what I need to be set free from.

I choose to know that God's power will be revealed in me in my suffering if I ask.

I choose to invite Jesus' compassion,

Understanding,

And correction into my defects.

I choose to engage in loving dialogue with myself and others.

I choose to realize the Kingdom of God dwells within me through the Holy Spirit.

I choose to remember that Jesus is the bread of life that satisfies my hunger.

I choose to remember that Jesus is the living water which quenches my thirst.

I choose to remember that the living water is flowing and fresh,

Not stagnant.

I choose to ask myself if I am feeling stagnant and if I am,

Am I blocked from the living water?

I choose to know that my defects of character,

My sin,

Block me from experiencing the living water.

I choose to forgive myself for the self-destructive behaviors I have used to cope with my pain.

I choose to remember Jesus said,

Whoever thirsts,

Come to me.

I choose to drink water and splash it on me when I am fearful and overwhelmed.

I choose to ask God,

Help me to see what you see.

I choose to take time and get preoccupied with Jesus when I am overwhelmed and burdened by the tasks of the day.

I choose to acknowledge I have personal blinders that affect how I see myself and others.

I choose to invite the Holy Spirit to remove these blinders and convict my heart so I may be set free from my obstacles.

I choose to do whatever God tells me to do.

I choose to remember the temple is where we meet God.

I choose to remember that Jesus lives in the temple of our body by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

I choose to connect with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit by connecting with my breath or life force.

I choose to remember I have security and significance by being a child of God.

I choose to reclaim my royal inheritance by accepting Jesus as the way,

The truth,

And the light.

I choose to know all I have is from God and there is joy associated with it.

I choose to acknowledge that God is in all of my circumstances,

Even my uncomfortable ones.

I will call upon Him.

I choose to remember that money is my servant and not my master.

I choose to remember that money allows me to access things and do good for others.

I choose to remember that God is the source of my income,

My employment,

My relationships,

And my health.

I will daily invite Him into all of these areas.

I choose to remember that without God my potential is very limited.

I choose to remember when I lose my dignity I have lost my connection to God.

I choose to take deep cleansing breaths,

Connect with the Holy Spirit,

And relax my body and my mind.

I choose to ask what God has gifted me with and get busy using that gift.

I choose to ask myself if Jesus and I are passionate about the same things.

I choose to ask myself if I have settled for being a victim over having a vision.

I choose to ask how God can transform my pain into something useful and purposeful.

I choose to take the first step toward the vision that God has given me and ask God to join me.

I choose to acknowledge that Jesus will be a lamp on my feet and light up my path as I am willing to take the steps.

I choose to remember that willingness takes action.

It is not a desire or a thought.

I choose to remember that my path will be illuminated when I take the steps.

I choose to remember that waiting is a spiritual discipline.

I choose to remember that what others are doing in their life is between them and God,

Not me and God.

I choose to remember when I focus on others,

I avoid hearing and seeing what God wants to show me about me.

I choose to just notice my emotions and not attach or make judgments.

I choose to serve one master and that master is God.

I choose to be more concerned with living in the truth than with winning.

I choose to remember when I am discouraged that Satan may win a battle,

But Jesus will win the war.

I choose to remember that my partner,

My family,

And my support group are on the same team.

The enemy wants for us to be divided.

I choose to ask myself what are the motives for my behavior.

Are they godly or self-serving?

I choose to be on the lookout for God sightings in my day.

I choose to see the leaders,

Mentors,

And teachers in my life as servants of God and not make them idols.

I choose to remember that I and all others are accountable to God.

I choose to reach out to safe people when I feel uncomfortable.

I choose to remember that if I do not deal with old sins,

They will contaminate my present life.

I choose to be a better person.

I choose to be a better person.

This is a great reminder for Christians in the storms of life. I'm always convicted of my mindsets and choices that are blocking recovery from illness and the potential God has in store.
