When you need to hit the refresh button on yourself, listen to this. You will be gently guided to release accumulated stress, get grounded and connect with inner peace in a timely manner. Very relaxing yet a quick pick me up instead of that extra cup of coffee. Let go for a few minutes to reset and find more energy. A great way to find that work/life balance when you are in a slump or over anxious.

Find a comfortable position somewhere you won't be disturbed and prepare to relax.

This is your time just for you to reset and refresh.

Let's begin by closing your eyes,

Taking a deep inhale,

Filling your lungs from bottom to top.

Nice deep breath.

Hold it and slowly breathe out and move all your focus and awareness to the very top of your head and relax your scalp.

Notice a warmth,

A pulsation in this area from the circulation under your scalp.

Relax your scalp,

Relax.

Feel this warm of relaxation as it starts to move down the top of your head to your forehead,

Your eyebrows,

Eyelids,

And all those tiny little muscles that surround your eyes.

Start to let go and relax,

Releasing any squinting,

Any frown lines,

As the skin around your eyes softens.

Letting go,

This relaxation,

Moving down your entire face.

Your mouth relaxes inside and out.

Your jaw softens and drops,

Relaxing your neck,

Front and the back,

Down to your shoulders as you let them drop,

Feeling the weight of the world sometimes on your shoulders.

This is your chance now to release that accumulated stress that we hide there.

Release the mental weight,

The emotional weight.

Let it go.

Feel the stress just dissipate.

Imagine it evaporating off of your shoulders.

Your shoulders are warming up,

Giving into gravity,

Letting go.

Drop it,

Drop,

Releasing,

Feeling lighter and lighter.

This lightness of being light starts to flow down your arms and you relax your hands and all your fingers and thumbs,

Busy little hands relaxing,

Letting go,

Relaxing your chest inside and out,

Becoming aware of your heartbeat,

Becoming aware of the breath in your lungs,

Breathing in the peacefulness.

As you become aware of the peacefulness as it rises up,

Rippling out from your heart space,

Allowing peace to enter your life.

Breathing in peace,

Breathing out peace,

Opening up,

The vibration of peace as it flows through all the cells of your body.

Relaxation moving all the way down to your feet and toes,

Moving down,

Enveloping you,

Returning to your natural state.

Of relaxation,

Your emotions are calm,

Feeling grateful and as your thoughts start to settle down,

Start to still,

Breathing in peace,

Just breathing,

Just be,

Not doing,

Be.

Not doing,

Being peace,

Resting with the natural rhythm of your own breath,

Just breathing,

Just being,

Being a powerhouse of universal energy,

Connected to all that is for the highest good.

Feeling the energetic body waking up,

Expanding with every breath,

The prana,

The shakti,

Expanding lighter and brighter.

I will count from five to one and with each descending number,

Feel yourself going deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Five,

Three,

Two,

And one.

You are now centered in peace.

I am happy and healthy.

I am peaceful and loving.

I am patient and forgiving.

I am confident and courageous.

I am safe and trusting.

I am hopeful and optimistic,

Full of gratitude.

I am abundant and I am ready for success.

I am engaged and energized,

Aware and refreshed.

I say yes to life.

I just am.

I will now count from one to five,

Becoming more aware.

Two,

Three,

Four,

Feeling good,

And five.

Open your eyes,

Feeling completely revitalized,

Refreshed,

And full of life.

I love this power nap practice. I felt refreshed and energized. This is ideal for a mindful break during my day. I felt like the affirmations were sinking in deeply and subconsciously while I was in this relaxed state.
