Welcome and thank you for your time today.
I would like to share with you a special meditation to help you to change that harsh inner critic and judgmental voice we reserve just for ourselves.
Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy and sabotage our best intentions.
This meditation will help you to replace the negative thinking that lowers our self-esteem with positive statements that help us value our own self-worth.
Self-compassion is not selfish or narcissistic.
It is actually necessary so we can be there for others that depend on us.
So let's begin and prepare by taking a couple of deep slow breaths,
Filling our tummy,
Filling our lungs deep and slow,
Allowing relaxation to release any stress that has accumulated mentally or physically.
Breathing out slowly,
Letting out the stress.
Just breathing in and breathing out mindfully and slowly as you allow the following affirmations to ebb and flow through the depths of your mind.
Relax.
I approve of myself.
I appreciate my uniqueness.
I appreciate everything about me.
I am compassionate and kind to myself.
I am perfectly imperfect.
I appreciate all aspects of myself,
The messy and the talented.
I accept change with ease.
I speak to myself with kindness and patience.
I am patient with myself.
All of me is just right.
I am enough.
I take good care of myself.
I approve of myself just as I am.
I release the need to criticize and compare myself.
I am intuitive.
I listen to my intuition.
I go with the flow and love my flexibility.
I am safe and trusting.
The world needs my unique perspective and talents.
There are many special truths about me.
I have peaceful,
Mindful moments.
I feel good about myself.
I have positive thoughts.
I see positive aspects of myself and others.
