Transcript

This is a breathing meditation to de-stress and detox the mind and body.

We will be using Breath of Fire which is fast,

Powerful,

Short and sharp breaths in and out of the nose like this.

The emphasis is on the exhale,

Dispersing toxins and negativity,

Followed by a full exhale to a complete inhale hold,

Applying the binders on the holds if you are familiar with them.

We will do 4 rounds of this,

Increasing the time each round by 10 seconds.

The first round is 30 seconds Breath of Fire with 30 seconds hold.

After the fourth round we slow the pace right down and utilise some exhale holds.

Let's begin.

Sitting upright and straight,

Bring your attention to your breath.

Long full breaths in and out of your nose at a gentle pace.

In 20 seconds we will start with Breath of Fire.

Thank you for this lesson, ahh great mid day experience. I must admit that I did not completely keep up during the rapid breathing but after adapting my own pace yes very enjoyable.

I’d been anxious that this type of breathing would increase my anxiety. Funny that. But it didn’t not at all. If anything it dramatically reduced it. That 2 minutes after the fire breath is amazing.
