Rather than being overwhelmed or controlled by emotions, you will learn to witness them as passing energies, each with something to teach you. Transcript

Every emotion is energy,

Emotion,

Energy in motion.

Right now in this very moment,

You experience certain emotional state.

Tap into it.

See how it feels to yourself.

This frequency,

This emotional tone will not stay there forever.

It will eventually change and shift into different notes,

Different emotional tones.

And now I invite you to allow yourself to experience all the tones,

All the emotions that are coming towards you as a conscious awareness that you are.

In the same way as the conductor of the orchestra does not make the musical notes,

But directs them,

Being separate from them,

But at the same time being in charge.

Imagine yourself that whatever you feel,

Whatever your emotional tone is right now,

You as a conscious awareness conducting,

Experiencing each single one and all of them simultaneously.

It may happen that your mind will try to add a description to what you feel on the level of the body,

What will say sadness,

Grief,

Shame or fulfillment,

Happiness,

Excitement,

Awe,

And any other description along the spectrum,

But recognize that that description does not make the emotion.

Your conscious awareness is the conductor here and you have the ability to shift to whichever part of emotional spectrum you wish to move,

Starting by recognizing of what there is.

Recognition is the definition of conscious experience.

See for yourself,

Experience in your awareness what it means to connect with your sensations that are a representation of many things that happen within your body right now,

Without trying to change them at first.

You cannot control all the processes that happen within your body,

But you certainly can experience them,

Not judgmentally,

In your awareness.

The more attention you will pay,

The more details you will discern.

For the next few minutes become a conscious scientist that curiously looks at the reality in front of his or her eyes and in awe sees it as is,

As energy taking different shapes and forms,

Informing the senses.

And regardless of the content of that experience,

It is a marvel.

So recognize that you have a privilege of interacting using your physical body with this physical reality,

Co-creating it simultaneously.

So I will let you to enjoy this interaction for the next few moments as I stand by your side to hold the space and I will bring you back when the time is up.

Now using the same principle,

Shift your awareness towards your physical senses that are the expression of your physicality.

First become aware of your vision,

Even with your eyes closed,

Connect with the perception of what's in front of your eyes.

Now,

Mindfully shift towards your hearing,

Experiencing the sound of my voice,

The sound of music,

Any other external sounds.

Briefly touch upon the senses of smell and taste,

Even if not very pronounced in this very moment and then joyfully connect with the sense of touch.

Feel the boundaries of your physical body,

Become aware of the shape of your body that connects you with the space that is around you,

Feel your feet on the floor,

Your hands in your lap.

Add gentle and slow physical movement by moving your toes,

Slowly moving your fingers,

Also gently rolling your shoulders to the back and to conclude,

Expand your lungs by taking a deep cleansing breath in through your nose and in your own time,

Open your eyes and welcome
