Welcome to this guided meditation for sleep.
Find a comfortable position in your bed,
Allowing your body to settle in naturally.
Remember,
You have the power to use your own mind to induce sleep organically.
Take a moment to adjust your body,
Ensuring that you feel completely at ease and supported in whichever position you choose.
Now let's engage all your senses before allowing them to rest.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Notice any sounds in the room around you.
Listen to the gentle rhythm of your breath,
The quiet hum of your surroundings,
And let these sounds help you relax.
Next,
Bring your attention to the sensations in your body.
Notice any areas of tension or discomfort and without judgment,
Simply observe them.
Now set an intention for this sleep period.
It could be to have a deep and restful sleep,
To awaken refreshed in the morning,
Or any other positive intention that resonates with you.
Sometimes the mind may try to interfere with your sleep,
But on this occasion,
Let your mind be your ally in achieving deep and restful sleep.
As you continue to relax,
Allow your attention to rest on your breath.
Follow each breath in and out,
Allowing it to guide you rather than trying to control.
Notice how your body begins to release its tension as your attention rests on the breath.
With each breath out,
Count back from 10 to 0,
Letting go of any remaining thoughts or worries.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.

Now take a moment to do a body scan,
Starting from the top of your head.
Slowly move your attention down through your body,
Noticing any areas of tightness or tension.
As you come across these areas,
Imagine them gently relaxing and melting away.
Feel the soothing energy behind these sensations.
Bring your attention to the sense of gravitational pull that brings stillness to your body.
Feel the weight of your body sinking into the bed,
Experiencing a deep sense of stability and grounding.
Allow yourself to surrender to this heaviness,
Feeling your head,
Torso and legs sinking further into a state of relaxation.
As you prepare to drift off to sleep,
Remember that you are safe and supported.
Let go of any remaining thoughts or concerns and give yourself permission to fully embrace this restful state.
Allow your body and mind to surrender to the tranquility of sleep.
You are now ready to enter a deep and restful sleep.
May your dreams be peaceful and may you awaken refreshed and rejuvenated in the morning.
