Inflammation within the central nervous system can be a root cause of many symptoms and diseases. Chronic pain, headaches, cognitive deficits, fatigue, and mood disorders may have some level of etiology in the nervous system. The inflammation may arise from various factors, including chronic infections (such as COVID, Epstein-Barr Virus, Lyme Disease, and chronic mold exposure), genetic predispositions, and toxic exposures. Healing guided imagery, although not found to be curative, can support the body in healing. In this guided practice, we envision healing light moving through key structures in the brain and spinal cord, bathing the cerebrospinal fluid (the nourishing and protective fluid throughout the brain and spinal cord) with healing intention and light. We infuse this light with healing qualities that reduce inflammation, balance the immune system, and reduce microglial dysfunction. May this support your healing in all the ways you desire.
