All right,

Let's take a good posture to start our practice of self-liberation.

So as always,

Let's go into the first layer of meditation,

Which is always the body.

Ah,

A very physical body.

Make sure that your sitting bones are well grounded.

You feel that connection with the earth beneath you.

And as you do that,

Allow your spine to naturally elongate upwards.

And as you breathe in and breathe out,

Connect with your desire for fulfillment.

Your desire to be happy.

Your desire to be at peace.

Your desire for knowledge.

Your desire for freedom.

Just connect with the energy of longing.

Your desire for completion,

Fulfillment.

In Tantra,

They said that in our essence,

We are fullness.

We are complete.

There's an ever renewing sense of fullness.

It doesn't deplete.

It doesn't wane.

It's constantly renewing its fullness.

That's a true essence.

And we come from that place.

We are origin is in that place of fullness.

And as human beings,

We know that intuitively.

We remember that.

And we long for that again.

We yearn for that ever renewing sense of fullness.

And that's why we seek.

We're always seeking outside to find out.

To re-experience that in myriads of ways.

Yet to truly find the origin,

We have to go back into ourselves.

We can,

We have to go back into that longing itself.

That yearning in the heart.

It is literally a pulsation in your chest.

See as you breathe in and breathe out.

You can come on into direct contact with that energy in your heart.

That deep longing for ecstasy,

Fullness,

Bliss,

Peace.

Completion.

Become intimate with that feeling.

Is the same feeling that actually becomes fear.

When we are afraid of losing that,

Or when we think we can't attain that,

It becomes fear.

It's just energy.

Your own energy.

But you bring awareness into it.

When you sit with the understanding,

Then what you're seeking is what you are.

That what you're looking is for the one who's looking.

And that's when meditation happens.

There's nothing out there but you.

Nothing outside can fulfill you.

Because ultimately,

It is all you.

You have to go back to your own relationship with yourself.

You gotta go back to what you are.

You gotta surrender to being.

And trust.

With each exhalation,

Just feel that powerful energy of longing in the heart.

It is your own essential power.

It is the creative force of the mind.

Go deep into that spring of your own being.

Like a well,

Go into it.

Experience it.

Within the heart,

Everything lies in potential form.

It is the warmth of creation.

And you are the creator.

As you go into your creative power,

Let everything else dissolve into that power.

All thought or feeling.

Feel that pulsing consciousness of being.

It is not up.

It is not down.

It is not in.

It is not out.

It is everywhere.

And it is you.

You cannot think your way into it.

Just dissolve into it.

Releasing all concept.

Holding on to awareness itself.

Or the primordial power of the breath.

You cannot really see the spirit.

You
