Good morning,
My friend.
So let's close our eyes.
And I always like to remember whenever I sit to meditate,
That life is perfect.
And wherever we are is perfect and will flow in perfection with whatever is.
We are a constant process of balancing.
Balancing.
The body is a master of balancing itself,
Regulating itself.
The heart,
The lungs,
The mind is always adjusting and readjusting.
So as you simply breathe in and breathe out,
Really just sit in there.
Your body is adjusting and finding balance.
And the beauty is that there's nothing you really need to do for harmony to happen.
But actually you do have to stop doing.
You don't make the harmony happen.
You allow harmony to happen.
And we allow by getting out of the way.
Every thought that we have is a ripple in our bodies.
It creates ripples of energy.
Every desire,
Every intention creates ripples of energy.
So I invite you to have the intention of allowing everything to be as it is.
If you're tired,
If you're achy,
Whatever might be going on,
Allow it.
Is the body readjusting?
As you exhale,
Notice the quality of releasing,
Of letting go.
As you inhale,
Notice your openness to the present moment.
The body knows how to let go.
So with the next exhalation,
Let your body be heavier.
Let your hips become more grounded.
Let your hands drop more heavy onto your thighs.
Let your shoulders relax downward.
Let your face soften,
Your tongue relaxes.
Even the muscles around the eyes soften.
Bringing awareness into your face muscles.
Can you feel your jaw,
The muscles around the mouth?
All those places where we unconsciously keep tightness or engagement.
And as you let go of all doing,
You allow the spontaneous flow of your body's energy.
You allow the wisdom of the body to be predominant.
Can you notice the little changes happening within as you remain a witness of yourself?
Sensations start arising more strongly,
Inner sensations.
Can you allow them?
Your inner body starts becoming more relevant as you take a back seat.
Can you notice this quality of pulsating energy in the body?
As you feel the body,
There's this vibratory aspect to it.
What do you feel this morning in the body?
What stands out?
What is calling your attention?
Can you allow sensations to arise and feel them as they arise?
In the Buddhist traditions,
There's this idea of no self.
There's nobody there inside.
Just the appearance of somebody.
If you allow this attitude,
There's nobody here.
There's just beingness.
What experience arises when you release the door,
The sense of being a door?
Even the sense of being someone.
You release the identification with the mind.
That inner spaciousness that remains and is one with existence.
You might feel this deep rest that arises as you let go of the individual self.
You become aware of your own presence as being consciousness.
Ahh.
.
.
This consciousness is aware of a world of power,
Movement,
Transformation.
You are the foundation of all this.
You are the essence from where everything arises and subsides.
The play of consciousness.
Can you feel the bliss of simply being?
Not seeking anything,
Not rejecting anything,
But being everything.
You are the foundation of all this.
You are the foundation of all this.
You are the foundation of all this.
You are the foundation of all this.
