One is ephemeral and the other eternal, one is changing and the other one is constant, one exist in duality the other one perceives oneness. in this meditation, we learn how to move from one to the other.

Take a moment to settle into yourself.

And settling means softening,

Relaxing,

Releasing.

One of the best ways to get into meditation is to recognize that part of you that wants to fix things,

That part of you that wants to attain something,

That part of you that is seeking something,

That it feels that it needs to fix himself or herself,

Or it needs to fix life.

That is why you need to let go when you're meditating,

That part of you.

That's what in yoga is called the ego,

The ego self.

That part of you that resists the present moment.

It's very much connected with desire and aversion.

Can you feel that within yourself?

Can you release all of that?

That requires a capacity to surrender.

And it takes your identity deeper within.

There's a part of you that is just simply aware.

Is not looking for anything.

Is not trying to get anything.

That part of you is content with existence as it is.

I call it like an inner light.

It simply illumines you.

It illumines that part of you that is trying to achieve,

Trying to get,

Trying to control.

So one is called the ego self and the other one is called the essential self,

The primordial self.

The ego self is always afraid,

Is always wanting,

Is always trying to control.

The essential self is aware of that.

Just noticing that.

The more you let go of the ego self,

The more you start recognizing the primordial self.

Primordial self is what underlies the ego self.

It's what's always there.

The primordial self is always there,

Aware of whatever is happening.

The ego self is connected to the thoughts.

It depends on the thoughts for its own existence.

That's when you let go of thoughts,

The egoic self.

When you let go of desires,

When you let go of control,

When you let go of any conceptualization of yourself,

When you surrender to being what you already are,

This inner existence.

This inner light,

Presence,

Being.

Education is relaxing into this beingness,

Which is aware and supremely free.

Free from attachment.

Can you feel it within you?

Can you soften into it?

Can you relax into being?

Simply being.

Nothing to do,

Nothing to attain,

Nothing to become.

You already are what you're looking for.

Simply experience your own existence.

Let's follow through.
