Take a moment and once again feel how the weight is falling on the sitting bones.

Make sure that it's more of you're neither in the front of the sitting bones nor at the back of the sitting bones but on the middle of the ischial tuberosity.

The tailbone is relaxing downward but still there's a nice arch in the lower back.

The shoulders move up and back.

There's a spacious ribcage.

The face muscles relax,

Especially the jaw.

The releasing of the jaw and the tongue is very important.

The eyes soften.

The hands rest on the thighs.

There's this feeling of releasing the arms.

See if you can feel a general softening of your being,

Surrendering to gravity.

And at the same time there's this natural increasing of your self-awareness,

Of your sensitivity to your surroundings,

To the noises,

But also to the inner quality of your body,

To your internal organs like the digestive organs,

The breathing,

And also of course your inner world of emotions and thoughts.

This whole landscape of experience is so complex and layered.

The landscape of experience is so complex and layered.

We can get easily lost in one aspect or another of the other.

Can you become aware of the whole landscape of sensations,

Feelings,

Thoughts,

What is called the space of awareness,

And bring a quality of non-doing with nothing to do,

But to allow our awareness to be aware of itself,

Of its own field of experience.

In this non-doing there is this sense of resting in what you are.

It's almost like falling back onto yourself.

A sense of repose in being.

And yet sometimes there are part of us that don't completely let go right away.

It might be the mind jumping to one thought or another.

It might be a muscle that is tight and doesn't let go.

It might be a mood,

A state of the mind,

An emotional feeling that lingers,

That it doesn't dissolve right away.

And yet that is not necessarily a problem if you allow it to be and remain aware,

Curious on what is happening.

Fully being intimate with experience.

As simple as just shining the light of your awareness into what is happening.

Sometimes it's your own reactions to what is happening.

The conditioned mind reacting to the world.

Almost like in autopilot.

But as you remain aware,

Everything starts calming down.

Very simply,

Of its own accord.

You allow yourself to move deeper into a sense of rest and non-doing.

Non-intervention.

Just simple natural presence.

The beauty of presence is that it's effortless.

It's always there.

It's foundational.

Be aware.

You're always aware of something.

So actually meditation is our recognition.

And it's our awareness in it.

Fullness.

Awareness is full,

Complete.

It's only in the mind where we experience black.

Isn't that amazing?

It's only in the thinking that we experience black.

There's a deep fullness in emptiness.

There's a deep fullness in being.

Almost like a warmth.

Almost like a warmth.

True home.

Ahh.

See if you can soften yourself into home.

Hmm… you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you
