Ah,
Alright,
Let's close our eyes,
Go within.
And welcome whatever is there to be welcomed.
Meaning,
When we say welcome is,
Welcome all the areas of yourself.
How's the body this morning?
How do you feel this morning?
Notice the emotional state.
What were your thoughts like this morning?
In Tantra there's always this invitation to be with what's real,
Be with reality,
Instead of our mind constructions of reality.
So be in the experience rather than in the thinking about the experience.
Be in the body.
Experience fully in the body.
There's this teaching of whatever you are experiencing,
If you can fully be with it,
Any experience can take you to the essence of your being.
Every experience is made of your own conscious power.
So any experience can take you into your depth of your being,
Into the depth of your being.
Maybe feeling the sensation of the breath,
Or even the sensation of your stomach.
Or if you simply allow yourself to be with experience,
Very gradually your mind and your whole being calms down.
It's not experience that agitates us,
But it's our thinking that agitates us.
It's the negation of the present moment that agitates us.
It is wanting things to change that agitates the mind.
The practice of meditation is the practice of embracing the present moment.
Being with it,
Being with the noises,
Being with your thoughts as they come and go.
Being with life as it happens in its complexity.
Another way to put it is being intimate with reality.
Being intimate with experience.
Notice what happens when you cultivate this attitude of openness to whatever is happening.
Even noises and disturbances actually can help you in your meditation.
They wake you up,
They keep you present.
You want to cultivate this capacity to be open to the whole of the experience.
Open awareness.
I like to think of whatever happens,
You feel it deeply in your being.
That's intimacy.
Like every cell of your being feels.
Every aspect of your being is sensitive,
Aware and awake.
When you're open like this,
When you don't resist reality,
Then there's this merging with reality where you actually become reality.
There's no separation.
There's just one thing happening.
Where experience and experiencer become one.
All our suffering happens when we separate.
When we distinguish ourselves from everything else.
As you relax,
Allow yourself to more and more experience unity with everything.
Oneness.
Experience and experiencer are one.
They have a"-s.
