Hello and welcome.

My name is Tina Stinson and I want to thank you for joining me for this meditation.

Let's take a moment to find a comfortable position,

Whether sitting or lying down,

And gently close your eyes.

Let's begin by allowing ourselves to relax,

Surrendering to the rhythm of our breath.

Take a deep inhale,

Feeling the air filling your lungs,

Your belly,

Hold at the top,

And now exhale,

Releasing any tension or worries that may be lingering within you.

As we begin on this journey of embracing the present moment and cultivating joy,

Let us first acknowledge that this moment is the only moment that truly exists.

The past has become a memory and the future is yet to unfold.

Here in the present lies the power to shape our reality and find the joy that resonates deep within us.

I want you to imagine a golden light surrounding your entire being,

Enveloping you in a warm,

Soothing embrace.

With each breath,

Feel this light expanding,

Radiating a sense of peace and tranquility throughout your whole body.

Allow it to melt away any restlessness or distractions,

Inviting a deep sense of calmness to settle within you.

In this moment,

Let go of any thoughts that may be pulling you away from the present.

Let clouds passing through the sky,

Observe them without any judgment and let them float by.

Gently bring your attention back to the gentle rhythm of your breath.

Your breath is your anchor.

It's always available to guide you back to this place of stillness.

As you reside fully in this present moment,

Let us explore the power of choice.

Recognize that you hold the power to choose your focus,

Your mindset,

And the lens through which you view the world.

You have the ability to choose joy.

Take a moment to reflect on the simple pleasures that bring a smile to your face,

The activities that ignite a spark of joy within your heart.

It may be the laughter of a loved one,

The gentle touch of nature,

Or the taste of your favorite meal.

Allow these moments of joy to fill your awareness as if they were whispers from your soul reminding you of life's precious gifts.

Now imagine a vibrant,

Shimmering ball of light forming in the center of your chest.

This ball of light represents your innate capacity for joy and happiness.

With each breath,

Feel this ball of light growing brighter and expanding,

Radiating its warmth and joy throughout your entire being.

As we come to an end of this meditation,

Carry this sense of joy with you into your day.

Remember,

Joy resides in the simplest of moments,

Woven into the tapestry of everyday life.

Embrace the opportunity to bring joy to others,

To spread kindness and compassion wherever you go.

Take one final deep breath in,

Fully immersing yourself in the present moment.

Open your eyes and exhale.

As you move through your day,

Remain connected to the feeling of joy within you,

And may it radiate outward,

Creating ripples of happiness in your life and the lives of those around you.
