Explore MeditationBorn and raised in Hong Kong and Indian by origin, Tiana (Amari) started practicing yoga from a young age following the spiritual teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda with whom her family has been affiliated with since the 1950’s. She has spent significant time in Mysore practicing at the source with the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Jois. She first traveled to Mysore in 2006 and then continued for every year (sometimes twice per year) up until 2011. She was Authorised by Sharath Jois in 2010. In 2005, she received her Teacher Training from Centered Yoga with Paul Dallaghan. She has taken advanced training with Tiwariji in pranayama and the study of the ancient texts of Hatha Yoga. In addition Tiana has completed several other trainings. She also teaches pre-natal, post-natal, kids yoga as well as Integral yoga. With the blessing of Sri O.P Tiwari, she continues to teach Pranayama and she is also an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance.
