Hello and thank you for joining me today for this guided meditation.

Today we will be practicing the art of self-love.

If this concept is new to you,

I invite you to practice this with a gentle and open mind and heart.

Self-love is one of the most important things that we should practice daily.

When we truly love ourselves,

Then we will be able to show up better for those that we love.

Self-love acts as a gauge for what you will and will not allow with others and will help you to set boundaries when needed.

When was the last time that you told yourself,

I love you?

As we start our practice,

I invite you to sit in a comfortable position on the ground.

Place one hand over your heart and feel the beat of it.

Now slowly begin to draw air into your mouth to the count of one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And hold one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And slowly exhale one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Now really start to focus on your posture here and make sure that you're sitting up tall and proud.

Inhale again,

Breathing slowly and mindfully,

Two,

Three,

And hold at the top and exhale into full relaxation.

Very nice.

Thank yourself for taking time out of your day for this sacred practice of self-care.

Let's begin by extending gratitude to yourself.

Inhale and say to yourself,

I am grateful.

Exhale and say for this moment.

Repeat this mantra for five more breaths.

Inhale,

I am grateful.

Exhale for this moment.

Allow the breath to relax you.

Inhale,

I am grateful.

Exhale for this moment.

Breathing deeply and fully.

Inhale,

I am grateful.

Exhale for this moment.

Feel fully supported by your breath.

Inhale,

I am grateful.

Exhale for this moment.

Breathing fully is an act of self-love.

And finally,

Inhale,

I am grateful.

Exhale for this moment.

Good.

Now allow your breath to flow naturally now and become aware how you're feeling in your body.

Sit in silence for a few moments.

Basking in the first oxygen that you've just created.

Now bring awareness to your thoughts.

Notice what you are thinking and see your thoughts as if they are passing by,

Like they are clouds floating by in the sky.

Imagine that you are laying in the park looking up at the clouds as they softly float by.

You can see your thoughts passing by and begin to practice the art of non-judgment.

This simply means having an open,

Curious,

And non-judging attitude.

If a negative story presents itself,

Do not over-identify with it.

Just watch it pass by and float away.

Relax even more by visualizing lying in the grass and feeling the earth underneath you.

Notice the shapes of the clouds in the sky.

Return your focus to your posture.

Make sure that you are sitting tall with honor.

Breathe in and out.

Allow the breath to fill you with confidence.

Breathe in the feeling of confidence and exhale feeling a sense of purpose.

Never forget that no one knows you better than yourself.

So bring into your mind the qualities that make you you.

Think about all of your attributes.

The good,

The bad,

And even the quirky or weird.

See these qualities about you pass by just like clouds in the sky and smile at all of them as they present themselves.

Breathe fully in and let the breath go.

Now let's dive deeper into those qualities about you that you may have labeled bad.

Begin to question the source of these labels.

Perhaps some things you think are negative are only because somebody told you so.

Breathe in and let it all go.

Other people's opinions of you are subjective and many times they indicate something they don't like about themselves.

Think now about anything that someone has called you or labeled you as.

Breathe in deeply to access the truth within you and breathe out.

Seeing clearly how you feel about this label.

Realize that this is not who you are and let it go completely.

Bring to mind those qualities about yourself that you value and appreciate.

See these aspects of yourself very clearly.

Visualize yourself in action right now.

Living out these qualities in your daily life.

Breathe in a fresh and new idea of yourself.

Exhale with a sense of confidence that this is who you truly are inside and out.

You create your own reality by simply focusing on it and visualizing it.

I invite you now to picture yourself exactly how you want to be as if you have already accomplished it.

Begin to notice the details very clearly.

Where are you?

What kinds of people are around you?

What are you wearing?

What are you doing?

I will give you a few moments to continue with this visualization.

Good.

Now take another nice deep breath in representing accomplishment and let it go.

Feeling full of self-love.

Whenever you are ready,

Return your awareness to the present moment.

I hope that you feel ready to take on the day full of love.

Thank you so much for joining me today for this journey of self-love.

Again this is Stacey Anderson with the Sundream Collective and I hope that you have a magical day.
