Why do you forget you are sacred? Why do you forget that your power is protected? In this meditation, I take you somewhere older than memory —into a desert temple where your sacred amulet awaits. Yes, your own medallion — drawn in your mind’s eye —crafted with symbols, stories, and strength only you carry. This is a meditation for those ready to honour their lineage, protect their energy, and remember: you don’t need to earn your power. You were born into it.

Welcome to the Medallion.

This meditation is a return to what is ancient,

To what is sacred,

To what lives in your blood,

Your bones and your breath,

Even if the world has made you forget.

This is your time to remember,

To honour your lineage,

To wear the symbol of your truth and let it protect what is holy within you.

So let's begin by arriving fully.

Let your body drop into presence.

Let's soften now.

Relax the top of your head like a crown melting into your scalp.

Relax your eyebrows,

Smooth like still water.

Relax your cheeks,

Warm and softened by sunlight.

Relax your jaw,

Unclenching the words left unsaid.

Relax your throat,

Opening the channel between truth and voice.

Relax your shoulders,

No longer burdened by unseen weights.

Relax your chest and feel the heartbeat echoing ancient drums.

Relax your belly,

Untwisting the knots of pressure.

Relax your hips,

Grounded and strong like stone.

Relax your legs,

The pillars of your lineage.

Relax your feet,

Touching earth like it knows your name.

Now dash,

Take a slow,

Sacred breath in through your mouth and exhale through your nose.

Let it sound like a breeze through desert dunes.

Again,

In through the mouth,

Out through the nose.

Let the space around you shift.

Let the world fall away.

Let the remembering begin.

Now in your mind's eye,

You find yourself walking across a vast,

Sun-drenched desert.

The air is thick with the scent of myrrh and sandalwood carried on a warm,

Ancient wind.

The sun above you is golden but not harsh.

The sand beneath your feet is warm,

Soft,

Textured,

Grounding.

Each grain holds stories from centuries ago.

You are walking on sacred ground.

Ahead of you is a structure carved from sandstone,

A temple partially buried by time.

You feel the pull,

Not fear but familiarity.

Your body knows this place even if your mind doesn't remember yet.

You enter.

Inside,

The air is cool,

Dense and reverent.

The walls are etched with symbols,

Hieroglyphs that pulse faintly with light.

And there,

In the centre of the room,

Floating above an obsidian pedestal,

Is a glowing scarab amulet.

Golden,

Sacred,

Alive.

It hovers just above the stone,

Spinning gently,

Emitting a hum that buzzes in your chest like a memory waking up.

This amulet was made for you,

Crafted by unseen hands,

Blessed by ancestors long gone,

Yet still watching,

Still guiding.

Step closer,

Let your eyes take it in.

The golden shell carved with precision,

The tiny wings folded in reverence,

The centre holds a symbol,

Maybe a sun,

An eye,

A sigil unique to you.

What do you see?

Now draw your own medallion.

In your mind,

Start to design it.

Do you carve it from gold,

Bone,

Onyx?

Does it hold the eye of Horus,

The Ankh,

A snake of rebirth?

Is there an engraving in your language,

Or one you've never seen before,

But know instinctively what it means?

Let it become vivid,

Textured,

Yours.

You reach for the amulet now,

And as your hand wraps around it,

A sudden warmth pulses through your palm.

Not heat,

Energy.

Ancient,

Potent,

Protective.

You place it gently over your heart,

And the moment it touches your skin,

There's a thrum,

A beat,

Like something inside you has switched back on.

Your breath deepens,

Your spine lengthens,

And your body becomes ceremony.

This amulet is not decoration,

It is declaration.

It says,

I come from power,

I am protected by truth,

I am the continuation of something sacred.

Now imagine stepping out of the temple.

The desert wind greets you again,

But now it carries songs.

Low,

Rhythmic chants in a language you've never learned,

But fully understand.

They're singing for you.

The sand beneath your feet is no longer just ground,

It's a throne.

The sky above is no longer just weather,

It's witness.

And with your hand on your chest,

Your fingers wrapped around the medallion,

You begin to remember that you don't need to earn protection.

You don't need to deserve power,

You were born into it.

Say aloud in your mind,

I carry the sacred.

I honour what lives within me.

I protect what matters.

I remember who I am.

Now breathe into your heart.

Let that medallion glow.

It's light travels through your chest,

Down your arms,

Through your spine,

And into the earth.

It roots you into your values.

It shields you in clarity.

It wraps you in something you can't always name,

But can always feel.

This medallion will stay with you.

In moments of doubt,

Reach for it.

In moments of fear,

Wear it like armour.

In moments of power,

Let it shine.

Begin to return now.

Feel your body back in the room.

The weight of your limbs,

The breath in your chest.

The medallion is still there.

You may not see it,

But you'll know when it activates.

Take one last breath,

In through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

And when you're ready,

Come back wiser,

Rooted,

Protected,

And remembered.

This is the medallion.

Thank you for carrying it forward.
