You are here now and that's what matters.
Wherever you are,
Get comfortable,
Find a seat,
Lay down.
Wherever you are,
Do what feels right for you,
What feels safe for you.
And let's settle in now.
Shutting down the eyes if you want to.
Notice your body,
Your face.
Maybe it feels tired,
We become aware of how we feel,
How the body feels.
We drop the eyebrows,
We soften the face,
And we breathe coming into this present moment.
With this meditation,
We'll be observing our thoughts,
Which meditation is a practice that helps us become more aware of our thoughts so that we can come out of that body experience of reaction,
Take a step back so that we can observe and not become too attached to the outcome.
So now that you feel centered,
Hopefully more relaxed than how you felt a couple moments ago,
Which is why this practice is so important for our nervous systems.
Detaching from the mind and the stories we may be telling ourselves just a couple of breaths,
We come back to center.
The affirmation I want to delve into for our practice today is I can escape from the world I see by giving up attack thoughts.
Attack thoughts,
What does that mean to you?
These are thoughts that might be from the ego,
From the mind,
The disillusion,
That things aren't going well,
That you may not have what you want.
So I'll repeat this once again.
I can escape from the world I see by giving up attack thoughts.
The world you see is created from your mind,
From the ego.
Sometimes it's often what we're lacking.
So being mindful by observing our thoughts and practicing,
We realize that our thoughts can actually paint the world we see,
The picture we see,
How we interact with the world.
If I look at a fence,
It may mean something completely different for me than someone else because I see the world as my thoughts paint for me.
Our attack thoughts want to paint the disillusion of not having enough,
The separation from being enough just within.
So this meditation practice is here for you to say that you are enough already.
The material things around you will never provide everything you need.
You'll always want more.
So you come back to this practice with compassion and awareness for your thoughts,
Knowing that they come and go.
And we observe them and notice,
Are they attack thoughts?
Are they thoughts wanting to separate you from your own truth,
Your own happiness?
Or are they loving thoughts?
So let's sit now together and just breathe.
It might be helpful to center your attention somewhere,
Maybe the third eye chakra between the eyebrows.
Big breaths through the nose,
Inhaling and exhaling through the nose.
We turn our awareness to the breath,
To the third eye,
Trying to zero in on our mind,
Letting go of thoughts.
Maybe thoughts come and go and just become aware of them.
Are they good?
Are they attack thoughts?
Are they of the ego?
Or are they of love?
I let them go,
Whatever thoughts come,
And I just take notice of them.
I'm becoming more aware,
But I'm not attached.
I know that this is all right.
Our human condition,
We have so many thoughts and they're powerful.
These thoughts,
They paint our reality here.
Do we want a good life or do we want one that we just don't feel so happy and we're reaching for more?
Instead,
We can reach for the good thoughts by becoming aware and when we have good thoughts,
More good thoughts will follow.
Breathing in and out with awareness.
You are an eternal soul,
Pure,
Full of love,
Connecting back into source,
Energy,
Noticing that feeling within yourself that you know is there.
I am not my ego.
I am not my thoughts.
They come and go like the wind,
Like my breath.
I observe.
I am the observer.
I can escape the world.
I see by giving up attack thoughts.
I see a world when I give up my attack thoughts.
That's good.
That's good for me,
For my soul that I want for me.
I let go of attack thoughts so that I can see the world I want to see.
I give up attack thoughts so that I escape the world that I see now through these attack thoughts.
I breathe in good energy.
I see good energy.
I'm a powerful soul creator and I want a good life for me.
So I observe my thoughts and become aware that I am a soul that is eternal.
This material world will not be with me forever.
So I sit within my soul and I breathe in that soul depth,
That good,
Good energy.
Take a big breath now,
Inhaling through the nose,
Open the mouth and sigh.
Once more,
Inhale,
Sigh through the mouth,
Place your hands on your heart.
I am a soul with beautiful energy.
I connect to that deep inner wisdom.
I let go of any negative thoughts and I become aware of them and say,
No more,
No more energy goes there.
I am the attractor of good things into my life.
I let go of any negativity.
I am love.
I am soul.
I am source.
