Welcome to this therapist refresh restorative breath for you.

Take a moment to land here and to breathe.

For the last hour,

You likely have been there for someone else,

Sensing and responding to their needs,

Their rhythms,

Their hopes and dreams,

Perhaps even to their angers and fears.

So now prepare on your next exhale to let go of what has transpired before.

And now inhale to return your energy and focus to you.

Without changing your breath,

Simply kindly bring your awareness toward it.

Feel its ever presence,

Always flowing,

Even in the background.

Each breath,

A moment to begin anew.

As you continue to just be with your breath,

I welcome you to send restorative breath to anywhere it is needed inside you.

Maybe to a tight neck or shoulders,

A sore back,

A heavy heart or a worried mind.

Just continue to honor the rhythm of your own breath.

And as your mind inevitably wanders,

Lovingly guide it back to your breath.

Letting go of thoughts,

Allowing emotions to pass.

Simply breathing in and breathing out.

Be taking time even to rest in the pause between breaths.

Trust the healing power of your breath as you feel your breath breathing you,

Soothing you,

Perhaps even gently rocking you.

Bring your awareness to where you feel your breath most easily.

Maybe under your nose or deep in your chest or in the rise and fall of your belly.

Now breathe in peace and release tension.

Breathe in peace and release tension.

Breathe in peace and release tension.

Stay here for a few more rounds of breath.

And as you prepare to reorient to here and now,

Treat yourself with tenderness.

Sense into and accept whatever is here now.

Perhaps something has shifted or eased.

If so,

Thank your breath and remember that the soothing you need is only a breath away.

We wish you good healing.

Another fantastic 🧘‍♂️ meditation! Thank you so much for sharing here. Your practices here are helping me to become more and more intentional about pausing between clients to take care of me; rather than only at beginning and end of day. Many Blessings. 🌻🐢🦋
